Has anyone done hoop Dee doo solo? Do they sit you with other groups or family's?

You get your own table, but your are surrounded by plenty of other people and families at nearby tables.

I’ve done it twice. The first time, I was Category 2 and was given an amazing side table in the front by the stage. The second time was Category 3 and I had a balcony table. Both were fantastic and I never felt ignored or overlooked because I was by myself.

I did it twice, once on the middle left side of the ground level, once atvthe balcony. Both were great, but the balcony was slightly better for a single. There is just one "row" of tables around the balcony. Once you sit, you have your food on one side, and an overview on the stage on the other side. Somewhat like sitting at a bar...

It's great solo. I love the show and the food.

I just wish they had a smaller portions option in place. I feel bad wasting so much food. That salad is enough for five or six. That tray of cornbread forces me to eat about half of it. (Okay more MY fault than theirs...)

I loved how a couple of the performers made it a point to come to my table. Since I was amenable she came by a few more times and sat with me for a moment. Always in character and quite funny. But I, too, prefer the balcony when solo.

I did it once solo. Right smack dab in front of the stage I was not expecting to be that close.

It was fine, but it's not really my thing. Food was good, but I wasn't into the show.

This is making me want to do HDDR on my upcoming solo trip! I've only ever done it once, in a party of two. Loved it then, didn't feel at all left out or weird for being just adults. Been curious how it goes as a solo, so it's nice to hear it's no different.
