Hoop-dee-doo seating arrangements

Will I be with just my family at a table or do they put other families at the table? I was hoping I will have just a table for 4 and not be put at a bigger table to share.

Where are you sitting? I'm pretty sure the Tier 1 and Tier 2 tables on the lower floor are for individual families. The Tier 2 and 3 tables in the balcony are long tables that you share with other families. You don't share the all you care to eat food with other families - if I recall correctly, each family group got its own food to share.

From what I remember every family has their own table, you do not sit with others in any category of seating. I have been every trip since 2005 ( I go once a year) and am pretty sure that your family sits by themselves I know that we have every trip. It is a great show by the way, I like sitting in category 1 myself it is on the first floor and has the best seats in the house, the food is really good to.

At the Hoop-Dee-Doo you get your own table, but like all other restaurants at WDW you are close to your neighbor. But there is so much entertainment going on even out around the tables it doesn't matter, this is a great place to go and we have been ther 4 tomes now and would love to go back even thought the show is the same. At the Luau you share long tables with other families.
Let me add this past October we decided to use our DDP 2TS and went cat. 2 for the first time, we sat all the way to the back on level 1 but were at raised tables and this was a great spot the CM were back there several time cause many times during the show they are down on the floor. I isnt that big inside so all seats seem to be pretty good.
