Can anyone tell me if seats are assigned by when you call or when you arrive on the night of the show? We are thinking about doing this in Nov., but I don't want to bother if we won't get good seats this close to the show. What do you think?

Also, we may add the silver plan to our package, can you tell me if your credit card is charged when you order your tickets or the night of the show? How does this work with silver plan?

Thanks for any help!

I have heard that your seats are based on when you order tickets. We reserved ours in June for our trip next month. But you can order up to 2 yrs. ahead. Now, it is my understanding that the same policy applies to the Luau at the Polynesian. But we went last August and called for tickets only the month before. We had fantastic seats. We got there early but I've been told that has no bearing on your seats.

we've been twice and yes they are based on when you book. The first time we booked a few months ahead and were very close to the stage. The second time we booked just a few weeks ahead and I think we assigned what could be called the worst table i the house: very back corner of the room on the first floor. We could see everything and had another super time. Dont sweat the seat assignment!

it depends on how busy of a time I guess. We booked maybe a month before the show (first week of Dec) and we were in the second row from the front.

Your seats are assigned in order of reservation date. Though it is possible to book 2 years in advance, I suspect many people book only a few months in advance, so your chances for a close-up table are still pretty good even if booking relatively late. Note that your table location is printed on your tickets when you pick them up, so showing up early will do nothing to change your seating location.

I booked our seats a month ago for Oct 2005. I was told when I booked that the seat assignment is done according to when your reservation was made. I was told that for the day I chose there were only a few tables booked so we should be first row near the stage.
I also was told that my CC would not be charged unless we were a no show. You pay when you pick up your tickets.

Thanks for your replies! I think I will take a chance and book now.

I am assuming that since they don't charge your card until you get there, we could reserve with cc and pay with our vouchers. I guess I will ask when I call to get reserve seats!

Thanks again!

We used the Silver Plan for the HDDR. They do not charge your cc. When you pick up your tickets they will deduct your wishes as payment.
