Is this worth using 2 TS credits for? I don't know anyone personally who has done this and my husband asks every trip if we can do it. For our upcoming trip we are arriving too late to do anything but grab a CS meal at the resort so we will have an "extra" credit and could use it for that. Our cast is myself, DH, DD 8 and DS who will be turning 5!!!

We've enjoyed it - gone about 3-4 times. You should try it at least once. It's a fine show for kids, too. Very fun and very clean. Food is great too!

We went and my children really enjoyed it. The food was good, but the atmosphere was fantastic. Lots of singing and dancing and corny jokes. We were staying at FT Wilderness at the time and my kids were thrilled to run into the characters several times as we went by.

We just did this two weeks ago for the first time. It was great! I will be honest and say the food was not spectacular but its all you can eat and edible so I guess thats all you can expect. The show however was great. My DD11 and I laughed thru the whole thing. They really get the audience involved and use them thru the whole show. We had a poor newlywed couple against the stage that got brought into the show repeatedly all night. It was hilarious! We will do it again for sure!!!

Its very fun. Weve paid out of pocket for it to sit near the stage and thought it was worth it.

I'd say it's something you have to experience at least once. We had a party of 12 last summer and most of us thought it was a hoot! The kids (4 of them & ages 7-10 at the time) loved the entertainment! Some of us were not impressed with the food, but some of us couldn't get enough cornbread & fried chicken (mmm!). Must say though, ALL of us, and I mean ALL of us, loved the strawberry shortcake! We chowed down on the dessert for sure!

Thanks for all of the feedback, looks like my DH will finally get his wish and get to the Revue!! Now, where do I book this, can I do it online like other restaurants?

Not if you're using the dining plan. Online, you have to pay with a credit card or debit card, can't use credits. Just call WDW-DINE and book it.

You can book it online. Make sure you put your reservation number in when you are reserving it or you will be charged for it out of your credit card. My family loves it and insists upon going every year. You also have to figure that even though it is 2 TS credits, it includes your tip which makes it a better deal than it may appear. It also includes beer. I figure with all that included, plus such a fun show, it's definitely worth it. We always end up with extra credits anyway since we share CS meals sometimes because there is just so much food!

All this advice is so appreciated!! Hopefully I can still get a table for the end of October?
We plan on going to AK that day, is there transportation from AK to there or what is the easiest way to get there? How much time do we need to give ourselves to get there? I am reading and some say an hour and others are saying only 15 minutes b/c it is reserved seating :confused3

We are going for the first time next month! I'm so excited! We have done Mickey's Backyard BBQ, fun but food....YUCK!!! Hoping HDDR food is better.

I would think the best way would be to take the bus from AK to Ft. Wilderness. Not sure of the walk from the bus to the Revue (have only gone to Ft. Wilderness from Wilderness Lodge).

I would definitely give yourselves about an hour. Between waiting for the bus and there may another stop in between, better to be early than be late. :)

If you are leaving right from AK park, you would take the resort bus to FW, and then the internal bus to Pioneer Hall. I would leave at least one hour ahead of time. You'll need to check in at the Hoop De Doo, and get your family picture taken. Honestly, we've decided it's worth the time and effort to just take a cab! For six of us it costs about $12 plus tip, and saves us about 45 minutes of travel time. This is our favorite night of our vacation at Disney World!! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I think your kids are the perfect age for the show. I would allow time to get your picture taken, you can also enjoy seeing the beach at FW and there is a playground and pony rides nearby. If your show lets out at the right time, you can stay and watch the fireworks from the beach.
We really enjoyed the HDDR.

I booked ours for Jan today. I went ahead and did leverl 1. It was only a fw dollars difference in price. We have the 715pm show. Last time we were right noext to the Organ. I just need to bring the conformation receipt, I can;t wait. I love homestyle cooking and cornbread.

Thanks for the tip about taking a cab. From the BC we were planning on taking the bus to MK then the boat to FW. If we take the boat to FW, will that drop us off within walking distance to Pioneer Hall or will we have to take the internal bus?

How long does it take to get to Pioneer Hall by cab, in time for pictures without waiting too long.

thanks!

The food was great and I got picked to be the show as Davey's angel. So I am a offical Pioneer Hall Player. I was in pink tutu and angel wings wife almost died laughing at me.My Pioneer Hall certificate was signed by Dolly Drew. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

You can't take a cab to Pioneer Hall. The cab will leave you at the front of Fort Wilderness. YOu will have to wait for an internal bus to Pioneer Hall. The time for this varies, but I would leave more than 10 minutes for the trip.
From the BCV's we always take the bus to the MK and the boat to FW. It is a short walk to Pioneer Hall. After dinner there are buses lined up near Pioneer Hall to take guests back to their resorts. It wasn't express, but it worked great.
Enjoy

We had one cab driver who was able to drive us partway into FW so we could walk...we had another who dropped us off at the front and we took the internal bus. Our problem with the bus-to-MK-then-boat-to-FW was that we waited 20mins at our resort for the bus, then just missed the boat at MK, so there went another 20mins! The cab, including the internal bus, was much quicker and less sweaty and stressful!
