Ok, I booked the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. The only thing left was category 3. I booked it, but I am concerned that they are bad seats. How bad are the balcony seats? Any advice would be helpful.

We were there last week and the cat 3 is on the second floor surrounding the restaurant. I didn't think it was bad if your table is against the railing. Some of the dancers do go up there also. It wasn't busy when we went so there were a lot of open tables up there. Good luck

We have also never sat in Catergory 3, but from when we have gone before I didn't think they looked too bad. We will be trying category 3 on our upcoming trip in March.

I haven't sat in category 3, but the seats look good for the show. The seats are all against the railing and the chairs swivel so you can turn around to watch the show and back again to eat. The only thing that isn't the best is that your party will sit in a row so you won't have anyone across from you to talk to or look at. The performers make a great effort to include the people upstairs. It is a great show!!

Last year we went and were in the balcony along the railing, I don't think there were tables not against the railing if I remember right. We thought it was a great view, you got to look right down on all the action, and didn't have to worry if our DD could see over someones head or not, like I would have been worried about if we were down below. We had a great time and everyone felt like they were part of the action.

We had category 3 seating last June but we weren't in the balcony area. We were at the very back table in the back of the theater. I thought that meant we would have an awful view but we were terribly wrong. We were seated at a high table with swivel chairs. We could see EVERYTHING. The performers make their way throughout the theater including the balcony. As far as Walt Disney World is concerned, I dont' know that there are "bad" seats. Lisa

We had Cat 3 seats and thought they were terrible. Our backs were toward the stage so we had to completely turn around to watch the show. We vowed to never go again unless we could chose our seats. I think it is great now that you can get different tiers. We've already booked Cat 1 seats for June.

Category 3??? We've been a number of times over the last several years and never knew of category seating. Please explain.

Catergory seating started Jan. 1,2006. There are three tiers. The first tier is the bottom and you must pay OOP. Second and Third tier can be DDP or OOP.
