Hoop Dee Doo Revue

They are reserved seating that you have to pay ahead for..they will charge your credit card when you make the ADR. They will sit you based on when you made the ADR so the earlier you do it the better your seats. You find out what table you're at when you check in..about 30 mins before hand. At that point it's too late to cancel or you would lose the money. I think it's a 24 hr. policy. When we checked it we had table #13 but that turned out to be front row, center. Go figure! :goodvibes

Just wanted to let you all know that for 2007 they are changing the seating arrangements. It will be tiered seating and the pricing per person will depend upon where you want to sit. We were just there last week of August at the show, it was great! Few characters have changed and lot more ad libbing was going on. Food was still good, everyone loved it. :wave2:

We hated it, but I think everyone should form their own opinion. So, I'd try it out. Sadly, we also hated the food, but many people like it. Let us know what you think!!!

I'm in the monority also. Thought the show was just OK. The food was decent aside from the rids. DW and DS enjoyed it.

Cant wait to try it ...
We made our ADR for our 1st night ..to get us in the "disney mood"

We went in 1992 when my kids were 7 & 4, and we LOVED it. We went just this past May and couldn't wait to go back. I must say I was disappointed this time around. The food was okay, nothing special, but I thought the show was lacking. My kids enjoyed the show even though they're 21 & 18 now, but it wasn't like it was when they were little. I was wishing I had used my TS credits on 2 restaurants, including Boma which I really wanted to try :sad2:

i asked my husband and we are in agreement you should so skip it because it is a boring show for 5 year olds according to my 8 year old dd

That's a risky first nighter. Should your plane get delayed or you hit unexpected traffic, you may not maker your reservation. Hoop-dee has to be canceled 48hrs in advance for a refund. They have your CC on file.

I thought so tooo ...(about arranging it for our 1st night ) but we arrive at 10:00 am ..even with a few delays ..we "should" be ok by 7:30 (?) ..I'll look for extra pixie dust ....Thanks for the heads up.... :thumbsup2

I believe that everyone should go atleast once. My DD (12) and DS (8) really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was okay, Olive Garden Salad in a metal bucket, ribs, fried chicken, etc. The show was okay. Who can forget the all you can drink beer!!!

We first went back in '04. My dd loved it so much, that she asked to have her 13th birthday dinner there if at all possible. Well, she gets her wish...she'll be back there next month.
The food was okay..we're not big ribs people and the chicken was okay, I'm the only one who eats baked beans. But the salad and the bread were wonderful. The strawberry shortcake for dessert was blah, but we like fresh strawberries, which this was most decidedly not!!!
The show is fun, corney and hokey as all get out. But, even my dh enjoyed the show!!! And he usually hates that sort of thing.
