Hi There!

I am going back for yet another solo vacation at WDW in September and was wondering if anyone who has ever done WDDR solo can give me any idea what it was like.

I've been to WDW solo several times, in fact, it's my favorite way to go. I have no problem eating in restaurants by myself, or doing most things by myself, because I am quite comfortable being alone. But the thought of doing HDDR alone, and being at a table with a bunch of strangers is kinda unnerving as I do tend to be introverted in social situations. I have a vision of myself seated at a table with a large family, The Lone Stranger. I would definitely be uncomfortable, even if they were very nice and welcoming about it. It's just my natural unwillingness to intrude on other folks' family events.

So, any solos out there done HDDR by themselves? What was it like?

Thanks!

I have not done HDDR alone, but my family and I love this show!

I hope other people will have ideas, but maybe you could speak to a CM on the Advance Reservations line to ask how you would be seated.

Enjoy! :)

Ive done HDDR solo many times. They seat you at a table that has a big bowl of salad and a loaf of bread. I sat in the front roll off the the side. Had a gr8 time. :cool1:

I/ve Done HD solo a number of times. You do not share a table with anyone. Be sure and ask for a downstairs table as the set up upstairs is like a big long table and I fine the seating uncomfe. You get into the action and don't even know your alone. To bad your going in Sept. otherwise I be please to join you. I just love this show. Not doing it this time as I want to do the dinner package for Candlelight Procession this year. I limit the number of ADR. I have plans for the MVMCP this year and I'm doing the dinner add on at LTT solo. :rockband:

Thanks HugPug and Justlikeeeyore! I feel very much reassured about doing HDDR as a solo now!

That's a very interesting idea you had HugPug! I have this vision now of a bunch of DIS solos getting together to do HDDR! :goodvibes
