I haven't been to the HDDR in years, so I'm forgetting what to do! How early in the day can we check-in for our seating (7:15pm)? And, do we only check-in at the restaurant or can this be done at our resort?

TIA! :thumbsup2

the actual check in is done just outside the entry to pioneer hall....proably starting about 1 hour prior to your show time.....You can pick up your form from your lobby concerige...I think that can be done a day or two (maybe more) ahead of time.

edited to add that (of course) you won't be brought into the hall untill they're ready to seat the next showtime group together....It's still a blast! :)

Are you staying on property? If so, pick up your tickets as soon as you check in at the concierge, or at least the same day. The earlier you pick up your tickets, the better your seating will be within your chosen cateory. (I learned that the hard way when I picked up my tickets on the day of the show and we were the very back table in category 2!)
They recommend arriving at the HDDR (with tickets in hand) I think at least 45 minutes early..they do take photos out front.
Have fun!

1) You can pick up tix at your resort 7-days prior to show.
2) Go to Concierge Desk and they will print them.
3) Report to Pioneer Hall at your "show" time to check-in.
4) We usually appear at the door 15-min after "show" time.

NOTE: The "show" time is actually the doors-open admittance
time. Example: the 5:00pm show is the admitting time, and the
pre-show starts about 5:20pm.

Thanks so much for the quick replies! :goodvibes

One more question though...I paid for the dinner upfront on my cc b/c we hadn't added the DxDP yet. Will I get that credited back on my card at my resort's (BLT) conceirge or at Pioneer Hall?

Not so. The seating is by when you ordered. Order first, get the best seats.

Sorry...this is not correct...Seats are not based on when you pick up your tickets...

I agree getting the tickets at the concierge before hand...

We never take the picture so only get there early if you plan to take the picture...You don't have to...Getting there early just means waiting around...Don't really understand why everyone lines up so early...But of course give yourself enough time to be there for when the doors open.

Yup...The seating is based on when you book...The earlier you book, the better the table...We always book 180+ and 4 times had a table right up front :goodvibes

Even if you don't stay on site you can still pick up your tickets from any resort concierge. We stay at SOG so we just pick them up at the Poly our first evening there. We go early just to make sure we are there. I think we were there about 45 minutes early last time. We're going in Oct but this time we'll probably try to get there about 30 minutes early. We usually take the boat from the Contemporary so we want to make sure we leave enough time for that.

Our first time, we book 180 days out and got the very front and center table for 2. This upcoming trip I booked about 120 days out so we'll see which seats we get. We enjoyed the front table which was literally up against the stage in the very center.
