Hoop Dee Doo returning?

Disney would actually have to be willing to pay the actors for this to start up , what are the chances of that ?

I believe that back in April or May, I read that the actors were being called back. I wonder what happened to that?? Hope they bring it back. It is such a good show.

Why is everyone always so cynical?!?!? There have been reports every day of live entertainment coming back: Casey's Corner Piano Player, Matsuriza Taiko Drummers at the Japan Pavilion, Yeeha Bob at Port Orleans, etc. I'm positive the return of Hoop Dee Doo is right around the corner.

Hoop-De-Doo is a huge money maker. The chances that Disney is willing to pay six actors to start this up is high.

It seems there has been a snag in that April announcement.

We can't wait for Hoop-dee-doo to return. It's one of the biggest things we miss right now. That and Poo's puffed french toast!

I'm thinking it'll return as a fried chicken leg, a single serv cup of baked beans, a strawberry twinkie, one Yuengling 8oz draft, or soft drink, and a 30 minute pre-recorded show on a big screen. Birthdays and anniversaries can be displayed on the screen for $25.00, if desired.

1st tier: 129.99
2nd tier: 109.99
3rd tier: 89.99

:P

I've never been to this dinner show, but I'm interested to see how they would handle seating. Don't they sit more than one party at a large table? I think that's a bit risky under current circumstances.

We went a few years ago and my wife and I sat in Tier 1 table alone.

The actors are equity so they could’ve been waiting on a ruling and are still possibly doing so. My local dinner theatre closed due to the pandemic and I wouldn’t be shocked if they are trying to figure out a way to rework the show so eating while people are performing doesn’t happen.

No. Each party has it's own table. DH and I have been three times in tier 1 and twice we were right up against the stage and the other time a row back, all three at our own table (4 top one time with no one else).

Same as other posters - we’ve been several times and always had our own table. Biergarten is the only WDW restaurant I can think of that used to seat multiple parties at large tables, although Sci Fi also used to seat parties of two “hitchhikers” in the same car with parties of four. Neither one, to my knowledge, does that currently.

Teppan Edo seats multiple parties at a table
