Hoop Dee Doo, Paid upfront now have DDP

When I made ADR's I didn't have DDP, got the plan tried to get refund on credit card, the CM said they would refund when I checked in at resort. I hope there is not a problem, I feel like I'm paying twice for a meal 2 months away. My refund would be like $300. Has anyone else been in this situation?

I had to do the same thing back in 2006 when we ate at the castle pay first even though I had the dining plan on my package. But she said to call when you are at Disney about 48 hrs before hand & tell them you are going to use your dining plan. They did credit my card back.Just make sure who you talk to in case you have a problem. I was given a cancellation number but that was 2006.
