Have a 6:15 reservation for Hoop-Dee-Doo. Wondering if it's possible to get back to Magic Kingdom for the 8:30 fireworks? If yes, what is the quickest way back? I know its highly unlikely, but wondering ipmf anyone has ever made it in time.

Is there a reason you have the middle show for HDD vs the early show that would allow you to do both the HDD and the MK Fireworks from inside the park?

With a 6:15 PM show the best you could do is maybe watch the high Fireworks from the FW boat dock, or from the first boat if you happen to have Category 1 seating any you are seated very near the back of the main floor.

As @scrappinginontario indicated the show will not end until right at 8:15 PM.

As PPs noted, you won't have time to get back to MK. I would head to the boat dock at Ft. W and try to watch from there. If a boat comes along, jump on - the view from the boat will be spectacular. Just be prepared for massive MK crowds exiting once you dock at MK if you choose to do this.

I'm going to be on the same boat (no pun intended), but was hoping to watch from totwl instead. My plan was to head to the dock and take the boat to the Contemporary if it shows up. If not, watch from Fort Wilderness.

If you're going to MK, the fastest way would be boat to MK. If the boat to the Contemporary shows up first, and you're a fast walker, you could take that boat and walk.

Yeah I didn't think about it before making the reservation. Simply a miss on my part. I didn't think fireworks were that early.

We are category 1 seating, so may try getting to the dock and jumping on the boat.

Thanks

Good luck but just to be clear you will not be able to get into MK before the Fireworks start. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the dock and then the boat trip takes about 15-20 minutes on average to get to the MK dock.

Category 1 will put you at a disadvantage for the boat as those seats are closest to the stage so many people will be ahead of you on the walk to the boat. Many guests take the boat back to MK to take a bus to their resort. Also, there is no guarantee that a boat will be waiting.

I would not anticipate seeing any fireworks that night and if you happen to see them from the boat it will be a bonus but a lot has to go perfectly for that to happen.

We caught them at the FW boat dock after our 6:15 HDD. Still pretty and a different way to watch them.

Just an update to anyone that may look in the future 6:15 reservation, Category 1 seating, show ended. Even ran to the restroom. Fast walk to the dock, hopped on a waiting boat.

Watched the start of the fireworks show from Main gate.

All things fell into place so can't guarantee it will work for you, but it is possible.

Thanks everyone! All the input and comments helped me prepare the family and then surprise them when were were able to make it.
