With the 180 day ressie system, can I make my Hoop-dee-doo ressies within 10 days of my arrival date, (the plus 10 thing) or do I have to wait until exactly 180 days from the date we want ressies for.

For the HDDR, since it's a dinner show they do not have the 180 day policy. Instead, they are booking right now through the end of the year and into Jan. 2007. So if you're going before January, go ahead and make your ADR! Have fun!

I thought that beginning January of 2007 it was going to a 180 booking window? Is that right? I am going Jan 1 - 15 and didn't think I could reserve until my 180 day window?

I do apologize, I didn't mean to be misleading. All of the dinner shows (HDDR, DSOA and MBYBBQ) are booking right now to the end of this year, 12/31/06. Beginning Jan 1st, 2007 it does go to the 180 day booking window. So if you're arriving 1/1/07, you would be able to make your ADR on 7/5/06 which would be your 180th day out. Again, sorry for the misunderstanding :confused3 . Hope this make sense now. Have a great vacation!

I thought that HDDR could be booked up to 2 years ahead of time. That's still the info in the 2006 Unofficial Guide.

Sorry SSSTeele, but the two years is no longer. It was one year for 2006 and starting 1/1/07 it's the 180 days + 10 rule.

does this mean someone who made ressies before the change 2 yrs in advance may be holding ressies not available to others at this time, or do you think they cancelled them and will have to rebook? Just curious. :smooth:

That's what makes these guides "unofficial", which is the reason why Disney does not have an "official" guide published. Policies change constantly which is why the CM's are always spieling "subject to change".

I believe Disney has designated Birnbaum's as the "offical guide" not that they have one hundred percent correct and up-to-date information either. That will always be an issue with printed material
