Hoop Dee Do for 10 in August 2025

Big family trip with our children and grandchildren, the end of August 2025, and hoping to get Tier 1 seating for the Hoop Dee Do for 10 of us. I have always had luck in the past getting reservations for me and my wife but have never tried to get one for 10!! Can anyone share their experiences getting a reservation for a large group? I'll be trying at the right at the 60 day window!

We are going at the end of this August. I had zero issues getting a reservation for 11 people for the 6pm seating at 60 days out. I did only have the option for a table in the balcony though, but I like the balcony tables anyways.

The 6 PM seating is probably the most popular, since it’s more like a normal dinner time. That means more competition for seats. So you might consider whether either of the other times would work for your group.

You shouldn’t have any problems getting end of August - kids return to school and it’s a very slow time (relatively) at WDW, even with the Labor Day holiday. And Hop De Do requires full payment up front, so you have fewer people making placeholder “book now decide later” reservations.

Do you have a range of dates you are looking for? Are you booking at exactly 60 days out?

If you are looking at only 1 particular date for the reservation instead of a range of possible dates, you might have an issue booking tier 1 for a large group at exactly 60 days. We had a group of 14 this past June. There was only 1 date that our whole group could attend and thankfully it was towards the end of our trip so that gave us a leg up on people who were booking at exactly 60 days. Since we were staying on site we were able to book 60+6. We only had the 8:30 option available to us.

Thank you for all the replies. We will be booking on the 60 day window and have 4 nights that would work for us. The 6:00 meal would work best but we could make the 4:00 show work.
