We've been going to the show since it began. With Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Dad, Kids and Grandkids. Same show, same corn. Food, mediocre, staff, absolutely wonderful. Laughs, guaranteed for all ages. If it stretches your budget too far, don't go, but if you can afford it, please do at least once. The cast works hard and unless you're the type of person with your undies in a bundle I truly believe you'll get a kick out of it. It's just plain down home fun. Guess we're slow learners or something because we're going back again for our trip next April. Am sure some will disagree but to each his own.

I went last year with my 52 year old dad, 21 year old brother, and 8 year old honorary niece. Everyone enjoyed the food and the show. It was pretty much a high point for the whole trip for everyone. When I started talking about ADR's for the next trip the first request from everyone was to go to Hoop Dee Doo again.

Is category 3 seating okay that's all that was available? Should i keep calling to see if category 2 opens or is there much difference?

I agree with this I just booked our Feb. 2010 vacation and the kids all wanted to know what day we could go to the hoop dee doo again.

We loved sitting in category 3 you sit up high but you get to see the show and don't have to become part of it.Some of category 2 is also upstairs but I would be worried about ending up on the main floor.

go, Go, GO!! It is so much fun!! The entertainment is hilarious, corny, slapstick, and something you don't get to see that often. The food is good, not great, but just good. But you don't go to the Hoop De Doo for gourmet food, you go for the atmosphere, the show, and most importantly, memories!!

If you have kids, make sure to ask your server to have your kids participate in the music. They get to play a washboard, spoons, etc. They love it!!

Love it!! Have gone as a child and an adult and it was great fun both times.

I've always sat on the floor so I am not sure about the upstairs but it looks like you'd have a great view wherever you are.
