Hoop de Doo rehab pushed back until Oct

Just booked my Sept vac ADR's today. I thought Hoop de Doo Revue was going to be down for rehab from Aug - Sept, but found out from the CM at Disney Dining today that they have pushed back the rehab to October. We were able to book ADR for Sept 8th.

How were you able to book for Sept 8th? That is my check in day but 180 days isn't until 3/12 I have seen a few posts with the 8th booked and I can't figure out why

You can get Sept 8th because it is 180 days plus you can get ADRs for 10 days out. So, someone's check in may be Sept 1 but if you add 10 days on to that they can book out to Sept 10th. Hope I explained it o.k.

I've got my HDDR ADR for Sept 6th - I'm so glad I kept it!!!

Any ideas on when in October it will be down? We were hoping to go on October 14 for my birthday. I can't wait for my booking window so I can be sure. Any ideas what they are rehabbing. I could not believe my eyes when I read the reader tip in AllEars.

TIA for any ideas. At least we know early enough to plan.

I really hope they don't do the rehab in October....for purely selfish reasons of course! Every year we go to Hoop Dee Doo review, it's a tradition. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I am not convinced there is a refurb happening. Disney haven't said anything officially about any planned refurb as far as I can see.

It appears that for the last few months, the availability for Hoop De Doo has never shown up at the 180 day mark, and I think this is the case for October.

But I suppose we will wait and see.

Someone could always phone the wilderness camp ground direct and ask if a refurb is planned, and try and bypass the dining reservation people.

Our 180 day mark was Tuesday. I included HDDR on our request list just in case. When I received our confirmations from the Poly IPO they told me that HDDR wasn't in the system yet for reservations, but they would book as soon as they can. I sent them an email asking about the rehab rumours. They told me they have not been informed of this (this was just this past Tuesday). I would hope that management would keep the IPO offices informed of closures since it is their job to book people's reservations, so I am still hopeful, although not holding my breath - this is Disney and we all know how conflicting the info from various CM's can be. They said they would keep me informed if/when they learn anything.

Our ADR window opened 2 wks ago and I have tried repeatedly to book HDD - no luck. I finally decided to try Micky's Back Yard BBQ instead, figuring my kids will like learning line dancing!

Played around a bit - looks like end of september is coming up without issue but starting Oct 1st I don't see anything. Probably doesn't mean a thing of course...
