Is there really any difference in showtimes? I can't see why there would be but I thought I'd make sure.

There doesn't seem to be a huge price difference in the tiers. Should I just do the best tier or is that not necessary? I'll have a party of 2 or 4 adults.

Do you mean is there any difference in the menus or shows at the different times? No, HDDR is the same dinner show, just offered 3 times nightly. The only difference is in the pricing for the different seating tiers. The seating diagram on the web page shows where the tables are located for each tier. Pick the tier you want. The view of the stage is fine in all 3 categories.

If you are on the DDP, it is only available as a cat 1 for the 8:15 show.

We prefer the Category 1 seating. We love being near the stage. I have read that the jokes at the late show can at times be a bit more adult oriented. I don't know if that is true or not.

Depending on how you are paying, yes that can change where you can sit and use your payment method (aka DDP & TiW).

I have also read the jokes/fun is slightly more fun for adults at the last show. I don't know because I only have been to the late show.

Also, transportation may vary from early show to late show. At late show you have a door to door bus from HDDR to your hotel, I don't think early show does.

We did tier 1 because we wanted to be part of the show and it was a blast.

This is not a guarantee as tables are assigned based on when you book, so you could book Tier 1 and not be by the stage. And the performers move all around the room and even up on the balcony during the show. Great you were picked but I wouldn't want someone to choose Tier 1 expecting to be selected to interact.

We were on the balcony and loved it, performers came up to us twice.

We've done both tier 1 and tier 2 and the 4:00 show and the 6:15 show. It was fun regardless of where we sat and when we went.

We've done both tier one and two and we felt a part of the show in both tiers. Last year we did tier one and ended up at table 13. It was a table for two dead center, right up against the stage. I actually felt self conscious eating while they were performing because it felt as if we were almost on the stage. I can't explain the way I felt because everyone eats while the performance goes on,but I personally would have been more comfortable a little farther back. We've only done the 6:15 show,as that works best for us in terms of dinner- the food is quite good, but somewhat heavy for a late evening. It's a fun time, tier one or two.
