Hoop de Doo not taking reservations?

Have been trying to book the Hoop de Doo review for our upcoming trip with no success, so I thought I'd call Disney dining to see if I'd have better luck that way. I was told they're not taking reservations right now past August, that they don't know why, they don't know when they'll be able to book reservations, they don't know if it's because of a refurb, etc. I called back and got a different castmember who had the same non-info. I've searched online and can't find any info on this. Anyone know what's going on?

There are many, many threads over the past several months. There has been difficulty booking the 6:15 show specifically for reservations for September onward. I have been trying to book for October since my 180 + 6. CMs could see that it was NOT FULLY BOOKED but unbookable. It makes no sense since for that time frame the 4 & 8:30 shows were book able. Folks are reporting mixed results for Dec & Jan.
No one has an answer why

Thanks. Weird, when I put Hoop Dee Doo in the search, nothing related to this issue came up. Had to scroll to find the info.

the person titled the thread Hoop De Do. I think this is one of the things that has the most misspellings.

I know that at one point, there were available bookings for the 8:15 show at the end of November. We had booked it, but then changed our mind and canceled. That was probably in June? I haven't seen any availability since then.

We have reservations for the 4:15 show on November 5. I wanted the 6:15 but they said it was not available.

As others have said, ths has been a problem for awhile. We started looking fir a reservation for mid October right at our 180 day mark, and could only find the early and late show ... No 6:15. Finally, a few days ago, the show became available. It seems like they are releasing a block of days at a time. Maybe try using the reservation finder at touring plans, it will alert you when the reservation becomes available.

I'm so jealous! I just checked for October 11 and still no 6:15 show :-(

We have a 6:15 ADR for HDDR for the first week of October, I had trouble getting it at 180+10 as it wasn't bookable yet. But I got it as soon as they opened, maybe 3 days later. I keep wondering if we're going to be there alone :rotfl:

I had no problem booking the 6:15 show on my 180 day mark for 9/8. It seems the problems with booking HDDR started happening about a month or so after I made my ADR's. About 2 months later, I did need to switch my 6:15 ADR to the 4pm show and did so with no problem over the phone. I just so happened to check online, when I got off of the phone to see if a 6:15 ADR would show up for 4 ppl since I had cancelled it and it never showed. I don't know what is going on, but this is one of the places we do each trip so I feel lucky that we got it this year. As popular as the show is, we've never had a problem booking the 6:15 show for the last 7 years.. It was always an easier one to get. I hope you end up finding an ADR!
