Hoop de Doo for December?

Hello -

Trying to book HDD at 180 days out for late December, and the site is showing no availability for any showtimes within an entire week or two...I've never had a problem getting this ADR on any of our other trips at 180 days. For fun, I even looked at a few random dates in November and October, and the same thing happens.

Does anyone know if there is a "glitch" in the system, or if possibly somehow bookings haven't been opened up..or is it REALLY just completely booked up already?

We tried to book this morning for the same time frame and none of our 8 days had availability for any of the shows. I highly doubt it booked up that quickly. I called and spoke to a cast member and they seemed puzzled as well.

Just have to keep checking I guess.

Thanks! Yeah - I was really wondering when I could find all sorts of times for BOG dinner - but no HDD.

No way it is booked already. There has been something odd about the booking for it all year and last year too. We had an issue booking for our trip Feb/March last fall with no availability showing, finally got the seating we wanted and then the place was two thirds empty!! We paid for category 1 seating and everyone there sat in the same section with room leftover. I really should have requested a partial refund.

I booked for last December (early December not near Christmas) just a few weeks before and had no trouble. I bet some more will be released soon.

It's currently unavailable because some of the audio animatronics just aren't working right...er no, that's Frozen.

I meant it can't be booked because of technical difficulties with the barges on the water...crap, no, that's Rivers of Light.

Heck, I don't know.

I just checked Hoop Dee Doo for a couple of days in December, then went to November, then went to late September and it showed unavailable for every day I checked. I switched times and number in the party and still nothing. That's got to be a glitch.

I made our ADRs on 6/5 and we will see the show on 12/7 at 4:00 pm. Hopefully it is just a glitch that will be resolved soon. Good luck!

That's what's happening to my with Garden Grill. Crazy, can't get in for the late Nov. to Dec dates. Can't believe it's all reserved up either.

There has been an ongoing reservation issue at the Hoop this fall. Several threads have discussed that there is no availability for the 6:15pm show. It isn't booked up, just not available. CM's do not have any answer, but have told people to "keep checking back".

I wonder if they are considering cutting down on the number of shows. As I said before, our show in March was 2/3 empty. It would be interesting to hear if others that have been this year have noticed that the shows were more sparely attended than in the past.

This morning was my 180 days, December 26-January 1.
Everything was available, BOG breakfast/dinner, Cindy's breakfast/dinner, etc., although I wasn't
looking to book just checking it out after my ADRs were done, approximately 6:15 am.

Anyway, I did look for HDDR just to see but nothing was available. My family of four (kids 18 and 22) don't want to do it (I did)
and I thought I would just try anyway but it didn't look like anything was open yet.
Let us know if/when it opens.

We keep trying to get a 6:15 reservation on October 23, so far no luck! It hasn't been available since our 180 day window opened. Hopefully soon....

I was just playing around with the dates and I can get any show for all the random dates I searched for July and August. They starting on September 1st, you can't find a single reservation. Weird.

well they sure as hell are going to be sparsely attended if they don't let people book them!

There was some speculation that they were holding back 6:15 show reservations and only releasing 4 and 8:30 to force people to book the less popular times.

Someone had a CM tell them there was a "partial rehab" going on (didn't say what it was) so they were only booking a few seats in every show before shutting it down (makes zero sense, that has to be expensive to run it that way)

someone had a cm tell them they were refinishing the floor so not booking anything until they figured out when that would be.

but really I suspect it is some weird glitch they can't fix. I booked 12/9 at 180+3 or 4 for 6:15 but a lot of people can't find availability that week now. I can't believe it is full. If they go down to two shows maybe they will be better timed for families, like 5:30 and 7:45 or something. or 5 and 7:15.

A few days ago dates were released for Mickey's Backyard BBQ and literally every single date that it is running is available to book. I called and e-mailed because I thought for sure it was a glitch in the system, and my reservation wouldn't be good. How could there be availability for every fall date right now? The cast member assured me that everything was good, and they just released additional reservations. I wonder if the same thing will happen with Hoop Dee Doo.

Christmas HDD is now available! I got a notice from my Touring Plans res Finder 5 minutes ago. Booked for 6:15 pm on 12/25
