Hoop-de-doo For Adults?

Want is your opinion of eating at the hoop-de-doo show with just us two adults? Are people forced to participate against their will. My husband HATES audience participation if he is forced to participate. He likes watching other people die of embarassment though.

The hoop-dee-doo review is a dinner show with singing, dancing, and lots of corny jokes. There is one bit where one of the lady dancers goes into the audience and makes friends with one of the men ( generally an older man ), but nobody is really picked on or embarrassed unless they want to be. If you like this kind of entertainment, it can be a very nice evening. Of course, you shouldn't go expecting the opera or a Beethoven concert! The menu is fried chicken, ribs, corn, beans, salad, and strawberry shortcake. We have a good time whenever we go.

sat in the middle of a number of couples. Two were newlyweds and the others were there for their anniversary. Go for it! You'll love it!

absolutely!!! we have done the HDD several times by ourselves and w/other adults and we all had a great time!

Been ten times and just love it.I'm Pioneer Hall Player I was chosen to be Davey's Angel in production one time.You are not forced to be in production if cast member picks your husband all he has to do is say no and they will chose someone else.

Ditto with the above....we were there 3 nights ago and there were several honeymoon/anniversary couples there. It basically seemed like if you didn't volunteer the fact you were there for an occasion, you were left alone.

We were there with 4 adults and all of us had a great time (and there was a huge variety in what we all like for humor).
