DD and I are doing a girls-only trip 1/6-1/10, and decided to try the Hoop De Doo on 1/7. DH doesn't like dinner shows, so, since he will be at home, it seemed the perfect time to go!

We ran into a problem, though- when I called the Dining line just now, the CM there told me that they weren't able to make ADRs for any dates past 12/31/06. I told her that it was within the 180 day mark, but she said that I'd have to wait "3 or 4 weeks" before the system would take ADRs.

Does anyone else have ADRs for January? When did you make them? Should I just call back and speak to another CM?

TIA!!

I received the same response... Except they told me to try a call every day. It's my last ADR to make so it's making me aggravated.

I would like to know too when you can because if we go in Feb 2007 I want to book my ADR as soon as possible. Is it true the sooner you book the better the seats you get????

:grouphug: Next WDW trip: Feb or March 2007 POR

No luck here for Jan. either....guess we all have to wait.
And it isn't just HDDR, it is luau and tours also :(

Awhile ago there was another thread on these boards about this same issue. I believe that person was told that the shows were going back to a 90 day ADR as of Jan 1. As such, since the date is AFTER that Jan 1 date it is reading it as only being available at 90 days out....

Now, this is ONLY what this person has said and I do not know for a fact, so please take this with a grain of salt! (Also, search hates me so can't find that thread atm :guilty: )

I e mailed the GF people again today to see if they were about to make my ADR yet and they said not yet but that they keep trying every day. they were able to make my RFC ADR that they couldn't make a week ago though. vverryyy interesting.

Well, I guess for now I'll keep our ADR for Spoodles- and keep checking back with the Dining CMs regarding the Hoop De Doo. Hope we can get in- DD and I really want to experience it once, and DH (the party pooper :teeth: ) doesn't want to go when we are all together.

I have been trying too.If anyone gets through please post so we can get in too. :surfweb:

This is interesting....we're going in March on our 2nd trip by Dreams Unlimited and hoping to do HDDR. Our TA said that you can usually book HDDR 2 YEARS out and when she called WDW Dining to follow up what we told her we'd been hearing on the boards, they told her there was no problem with booking for '07.

Do DU TA's get "special priveleges" and the ability to book everything before everyone else?????

When I tried to book today for January, the CM said "no HDDR until further notice" I was able to book everything else I wanted

Okay, so I don't no if this is true or if this is just a rumor but MIL works at the Disney Desk for Continental Airlines and she said that she overheard that Disney is in the works of revamping how they book HDDR. Bottom seating will cost more than the top, closer seats will cost more than those further away. She thought that this may be why there is a delay. I hope not.

I just got off the phone and was told to call back tomorrow, that there was a "glitch" in the system. The CM would have been able to book HDDR. He did say that they were updating their systems. I'll try again tomorrow, but I like to have things planned.
