Hoop-De-Doo -- anyone ever get a cat. 3 with more than 5 people?

They're telling me that we can't get a cat. 3 with more than 5 people but gave me a direct number to try to reach someone to set this up for us. Anyone ever gotten a cat. 3 with more than 5???

The tables all seat 4 in Cat 3. Maybe you can split up the res for a party of 2 and a party of 3 and ask to be seated in tables next to each other?

Sure did...in August....got a Category 3 seating for 10 people!! Good luck!!

At one table? We're trying to seat a party of 6 and were told that we had to go cat. 2.

1) ALL cat-3 tables are 4-tops.
2) Five people need a second table.
3) The cat-2 and cat-1 tables on the main floor can accommodate more people.
4) Why not just do the cat-1 or cat-2.
5) The view and comfort are fair superior to cat-3.

We reserved a category 2. I was just trying to save a little money in booking a 3. We've gone to WDW every year at least 1 time since 1998 and have never been to the HDD. I've read rave reviews and figured we'd try it our next trip.
