Hoop DE DO?

Do you think the Hoop De Do review is worth 2 TS credits?
Is it fun? I have two DS's 12 and 6, Is this something kids enjoy?
They loved Whispering Canyon.

If you have never been, YES GO!!!!!
I'm not a DP expert as far as value etc, but my guess is you may have trouble using all of your TS credits in the first place so yes, cash in 2 TS credits and go to Hoop De Do. Kids will love it, specially at the grand finale, parents may need ear plugs

We just did Hoop De Doo on July 2 - it was really a lot of fun and we thought the food was really good! Cornbread and salad was waiting on the table for you, then they brought the ribs, fried chicken and baked beans. Later they brought the strawberry shortcake! My mom & I really enjoyed the salad, and I thought the BBQ ribs were delicious!!! My mom liked the ribs and the fried chicken! My DD(11) liked the food - especially the corn bread (???), and I was really surprised at how much she enjoyed the show!!

We hadn't been to the Hoop De Doo for a few years (DD was a baby last time we went). We're a family of five actually (DH & older DDs did not come on this trip), and the cost is a little high for five. We had a really good time - we all enjoyed the show and the food.

Not sure if I would say it was worth 2 TS credits. Depends on what other ADRs you have, and if you feel you're missing a restaurant by using the 2 credits for this meal. I think I'd pay OOP for this one.

I think it is worth 2 TS - it is a great show! The food is OK. Be sure to get early ADRs so you are on the lower floor, not balcony

Allow a generous time to travel to FW. A lot of people go to WL by mistake the have to catch boat to FW.

Yes it is worth it. We had a great evening, both my kids would have agreed to going back again during the same vacation, in fact they suggested it! My kids were 7 and 14 and loved it. My 7 yr old just loved the corny humor and my 14 appreciated it from a theatrical level that it was amazing how much entertainment could be delivered by only a few actors. I have also taken my nephew when he was 10 and he loved it. We have been on the balcony and on the main floor and to us both were equally fun. the food is good, even my picky eater ate!

I went last November thinking it'd be ok. The rest of my party wanted to go so I went. It was so much fun!! The food was great, the show was great, well worth every penny.

The Hoop Dee Do is GREAT....I'm not on a food plan for our upcomming trip so I can't say if its worth this or that...but if they are charging X and it compares to the cost of the show it is worth it.

It doesn't matter what we think. It only matters what you think. Is it a good value at 2 TS credits? Financially, no restaurant is worth 2 TS credits. Disney knows this and uses it as a additional profit stream. The important thing is that you have fun. The whole family will have a great time.

It is worth 2 TS, but I wouldn't spend it. If you can pay oop do that, you get more value that way.

When I was 13 my most memorable memmory was the hoop dee doo. 20 years later when I went again my favorite memmory was hoop dee doo. Not a mention of going vs. not going, its about how to get the most value out of going.

Disneynutz it does matter what you guys think because I would never be abel to get the fell for the resturaunt with out asking people what they thought on their trips. I just try to make the best choices off all the info I can gather. Thanks Nettii

Sorry that it didn't work out. You might try to get a resi latter. Not knowing any better we were able to get a same day resi once because someone canceled. You never know.

I have exchanged 2 TS's for it, but I don't think I'll do that again. Mostly because on the DDP you no longer get tier 1 seating. It's a great show and the food is great too, but I think next time I'll do OOP.

Disneynuts I will probable try that it worked for me last time at Crystal Palace. I think I might rather pay out of pocket and get down in tier one with all the action!

Last time I called to book HDD Revue the CM mentioned they book in 3 different tiers, and that those using the 2 DDP credits are tier 3. Once the tiers fill up then they are out of seats. If you wanted to pay cash for tier 1 or 2, you might want to call back and ask about it for the date you wanted. When we go in November I paid $$ when booking, for tier 1 around $58.95?? per adult. Supposed to guarentee front and center, we will be with our children. When DW and myself go in Sept. we are going to HDD as tier 3 thru DDP. We will be second floor balconey, which is fine with us.
And I would say hoop Dee Doo is worth the money.
