We have reservations for Hoop de Do and I'm second guessing spending $240 including 2 kids that probably will only eat cornbread. Does anyone know if there are chicken nuggets or mac and cheese for the kids? Thank you!

My picky preteen ate chicken tenders and french fries. I mentioned it at check in, the chef spoke to us. He was quite familiar with the request and my picky eater was very happy with his rather large servings of both chicken and french fries.
I would imagine that mac and cheese would be available as well. I believe that if they have it at Trails End it would be easy to serve.

Yes I have read mac and cheese is an option as well. Hoping my picky guy will try some fried chicken and ribs but he won't touch the rest and hoping for mac and cheese as a fallback.

You need to remember that you're paying for the experience, not the food, at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue.

We've been twice with young kids who are fairly picky. If your kids won't eat at Hoop-Dee-Doo, they probably wouldn't be happy eating anywhere. They had mac and cheese both times we went. The show is fun and should keep them entertained and if they fuss, no one will notice!

Thank you! This is exactly what we will do. They will both be fine with either nuggets and fries or mac and cheese :)

Thanks! Mine are 9 and 13 and been picky forever so we always check menus before booking. There is usually always something for them. I was just worried about spending so much (especially for the 13 year old and adult pricing) on cornbread :) I'm glad to know we can get some mac and cheese :)

They have great fried chicken if that helps.

No problem! For what it's worth, I think they will have a great time with the show even if they only eat dessert! :D

Keep it! You won't be sorry! And yes, you'll be able to ask for nuggets, fries and mac n cheese for your kids. They are great with that! You will love HDDR. It is our absolute favorite dinner each trip.. not only for the experience but for the food. The cornbread w/butter and the salad are so good, it is so hard to stop eating it before all of the other deliciousness gets to the table.

You're stuck with the picky kids. No second guessing that one. :p

When I saw your thread title, that's the first thing that popped into my head. :rotfl: Sorry

Great experience! My youngest is so picky but he did get mac and cheese and loved it. I tasted it and it was wonderful! We have been twice and it is a must see!

Yes I have one picky child and he was able to get chicken nuggets no problem. Heck, even if they just eat cornbread, they will bring all you can eat! We always go through 2-3 loaves of it. :rolleyes1

You gave your kids Sangria?

lol

(I see how that might have been slightly ambiguous! :)

I had enough for several people though - that Princess breakfast at 8:00 am the next morning with all that fried 'comfort' food was Really not a great idea! lol

yeah i made red beans and rice yesterday and had more for lunch and then went ice skating. Not my smartest move ever. Also, have a bottle of wine for with dinner tonight. We'll see how that sits. time for the dancing banana again.

For what it's worth the included all you can drink sangria and fried chicken MAY have heavily influenced my decision to do hoop dee doo on our upcoming trip. maybe. if my kid can get mac and cheese it is a win all around. Can't wait.
