Hooking Main Gate to Magic Band

Hey there I am a Disney World Cast Member and I am actually taking a vacation and staying in one of the resorts. I will receive a magic band and was wondering if I can hook my main gate to my magic band and just use that instead of my cast member main gate pass.

Cause ideally I would like the only have to use my magic band to make fast passes a day ahead of time or make reservations for my days off but I'm not sure if the bands have an expiration date and would mess up if I tried to add it to the band through My Disney Experience.

It may have changed by now, but Main Gate passes weren't eligible for FP+ in advance.

I'm sure someone that knows the correct answer will be by shortly.

MagicBands don't expire.
CM tickets MIGHT be able to make
advance FP+ reservations when combined with a WDW resort stay.

If you can get your pass ticket number to connect with MDE (maybe, maybe not)

A couple of CMs have reported sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

It's also been reported CMs have received reprimands on their employment records because advanced scheduling of Fp+ is not to be used by CMs during this ongoing "test" phase. Best to check the Hub for specific Fp+ directives for CMs.
