I wonder how well it will do. It appears to be really small (would fit into Disneyland Paris 15 times)and has only one roller coaster (Space Mountain). It may only be $37 or so for an adult but are their salaries not a great deal lower than those in the west?
It appears that the Hong Kong Tourist Board asked Disney to reduce the park capacity numbers ( ie numbers before it closes) to diminish the queues and congestion( at 30% capacity they were having 90 minute waits for Winnie the Pooh ride) but were told that they wouldn't but instead might open later on one or two evenings.
Time will tell, but it would appear that Disney already have their sights on opening another park in Shanghai in 2010.
I'm going to Asia in January on business - and while I normally like to get there and back, I have planned my trip for a little longer and have ensured I've got the weekend in HongKong....if I can't get any associates to go with me.....I'm a goin' by myself!!!!!
