Honeymooning in 6070. Anyone stay here?

Hi everyone! Talked to my TA last night and we started setting up the Honeymoon portion of my trip and we began booking my cruise on the Magic.

I originally wanted a cat7 stateroom but one with a obstructed view not a navigator's verandah but I realized that it may be difficult to get one of those rooms and come on, it's my honeymoon so I can splurge a bit right? So I decided to book a cat6 (without telling DF at the time) and just bite the extra 200.

We got 6070. Anyone know anything about this room? I figure it's in a good location, midship near elevators. How's the noise around here? Is it a long walk to the Laundry? The view? Anything you can tell me would be great!

I JUST NOTICED that our room is a connecting room. Can you hear the neighbors noise through that door? Heck, they might not want to hear our noise for that matter! Shame on me

We stayed in 6078 on the Wonder for our Honemoon (3/9/03) and it was great. 6078 is not a connecting room but that part of the ship is great and the views from the balcony are wonderful.

Erin,
If you're sure it is a connecting room, you should call DCL and gently remind them that it IS your honeymoon!! From what I've read on these boards, the rooms that are connecting have very thin doors and you can hear everything. That's fine, if it's your kids on the other side but not fine if it's not!! I'm sure they will accomodate a change.
BTW, we are cruising with you on 1/15, we are on deck 5.

That's very cool that you will be on our cruise! I agree the more I think about it, it would probably be in better interests for our neighbors not to be connected to us . Mind you, I am not intentionally going to try to be noisy but....

I think I will call my TA on Friday (she's off the next couple of days) and tell her my concerns.
