Honeymoon - Day 1 <3

So finally after a full day of travel on Sunday, we will have our first full day in WDW on Monday, May 7th! Here is my plan so far:

Start the morning out with breakfast at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at POFQ! I will most like get the pancakes, while DFi will head straight to whatever has the most food!

sassagoula.jpg

After break, we are going to head right to Epcot for our first full day of adventure. We will stop at Soarin for our fast passes and enjoy the morning exploring other attractions. Hopefully we can go hang out with Nemo and Crush without the crowds!

I decided to start our Honeymoon out with a great meal :flower3:, and one of my favorites - Le Cellier!! We have a 12:00 p.m. reservation. My favorite lunch item is the Salmon burger and of course the maple creme brulee!

lecelliercreme.jpg

After Le Cellier, we hope to walk off the food! We will check out the world showcase, and make sure to start collecting my pins from each country! But today is a stress free day, so at this point if we want to go back and take a nap - then why not? We will decide after that great meal at Le Cellier!

EpcotBallandTrees.jpg

After either our nap or leisure time throughout Epcot, my plan is to head to Hollywood Studios for the evening. :wizard: I hope to take this time to see some of the lesser crowded attractions, but make sure to get atleast 1 fast pass for either Tower of Terror or Rockin Roller Coaster!

JenJessDisney.jpg

For dinner, we have a 6:30 reservation for Sci Fi Restaurant. This is per DFi's request, he loves their milkshakes! It will be nice to sit back and watch some old cheesy movies! popcorn::

After Sci Fi, we are going to head right to Fantasmic - MY FAVORITE SHOW! While ever other show at Disney is amazing too, I am in love with Fantasmic. There is just something about it that reminds me of what Disney is all about!

Fire_Fantasmic.jpg

Overall, seems like a pretty successful first day! :woohoo: If you have any suggestions, let me know!

Sounds like a great plan!

Your plan for Day 1 sounds perfect! I love that you're going to just take it easy and relax.

Fantasmic is our favorite show too! I cry like a baby everytime I see it

Honeymoon - Day 2 <3

After a great first day full of Epcot, HS, and Fantasmic - I am dragging DFi for a full day of MK!!! This is one of my favorite days that I have planned so far, and it might be our most packed day! But that is ok, DFi will still be in Disney mode!

magic-kingdom1.jpg

First, we are starting out at Crystal Palace for breakfast. We have an 8:05 reservation so we can get into the park early! I can't wait for the perfect photo shot on Main Street! This is my favorite place to eat for Breakfast just so I can get in MK early.

crystalpalace.jpg

I am actually going to do things backwards this trip! Normally we head right to Pirates, but I want to check out Space Mountain and Buzz early in the morning! DFi's favorite ride is Carousel of Progress - has tons of memories with it. And yes, he is still upset the Alien Encounter is gone!

After a morning in Tomorrow land, I actually think we might head to the hotel for some R&R. Get away from the crowds for 1 or 2 hours, and come back in the late afternoon.

First afternoon stop: Tony's Town Square Restaurant :cloud9: for a 2:15 reservation. Perfect timing to request an outdoor table and 3:00 parade! We do this ever year and it is so great!

parade.jpg

Who knows what we will do after the parade/lunch! I would  to shop! But I know DFi will be begging to go to Pirates! pirate: So I might just leave it up to him. We are going to spend the evening just celebrating our Honeymoon and loving the moments we have in MK!

dessert.jpg

To end our evening, my plan for DFi is to check out Casey's Corner if he is hungry and head right for Tomorrowland Wishes Dessert Party! :wizard: I really hope I can get a reservation, anyone have any luck?

Let me know what you suggestions/thoughts are on the 2nd full day!

I love getting into the park early-- you're smart for making an early ADR at CP! I love it there!

Sounds like you've got it all figured out; that's awesome!

Thanks for the tip on the parade! We will have to do that the next time!

Everything looks perfect!

Hi Jessica I am on your May thread. How exciting having a Disneymoon!!:goodvibes I love weddings so it kinda feels like I will be at yours:) Cant wait to read more of your plans. Love it so far!

So I'm just seeing your latest update now, but about the dessert party - I got a reservation when we were there in September. You just have to be on the lookout! There is a thread on the DIS that monitors when each month goes up for sale, since there's no set date. I think when I went in September that month was released about mid-July. So you can't plan too far in advance, unfortunately. Also a good idea to skip dinner or do a really light dinner, that dessert party really filled me up! I'm hoping to do it again in our 2013 trip!

we are going to head right to Fantasmic - MY FAVORITE SHOW! While ever other show at Disney is amazing too, I am in love with Fantasmic. There is just something about it that reminds me of what Disney is all about!

Oh, a girl after my own Heart!!!!

I absolutely adore Fantasmic. Ever since the first time I saw it in Anaheim in 1999, I have been in love with it.

Loving your Pre Trip report so far. Your wedding dress is amazing!

Hello all! Sorry for my long hiatus, but I am back! :cool1:

I made a rule for myself, if I was studying for a CPA exam - I could not update my Trip Report. Well I have been studying since November but am finally taking off a month before the wedding and Disneymoon!

Hopefully some of my followers come back to check this out again. I have TONS of changes since I originally wrote a lot of this.

So I hope you follow along :wizard:

Honeymoon Accommodations Update!!

I have an amazing update, we are now staying at Boardwalk Inn for all 10 nights! We have decided that it is worth the upgrade for a vareity of reasons. This if the first time I am staying at BWI and first time at deluxe!

bw5sign.jpg

One of the main reasons we chose BWI was the decor. We love vintage beach scenes, considering we travel the the Jersey shore each year. We love the history of the east coach beaches and how BWI has applied that to their decor.

bw6lobby.jpg

Another amazing aspect is how close it is to Epcot and HS! We are huge fans of both of these parks and can't wait to have the ease of walking to them. It is something I have always dreamed of doing when I stay on property.

bw2map.jpg

The entertainment on the boardwalk is another great hit for us. We look forward to all of the restaurants and the shops along the boardwalk. One great touch for us is the surrey. We rent them every year in OCNJ, and just love that we can do it in FL too!

bw4surrey.jpg

Overall, BWI just appeals to us in sooo many ways! The picture below explains it all

BW1.jpg

For those who are just joining, thank you! To give you an update - we originally were staying at POFQ for 5 nights and AKL for 5 nights. But it is BWI for all 10 nights now!

Transporation Update!

For thos who have followed, you knew that DFi and I had different visions on how we would get to Disney. I will just say, that my vision is the one we chose! :lmao:

:woohoo: We are flying!!! :woohoo:

southwest.jpg

DFi was so set on driving, until he saw that gas was at $4+ in our area! He was scared of what it would be by the time we got to FL. While we won't have our own car, it is no problem this trip!

southwest2.jpg

One of the main reasons we chose Southwest is because each passenger gets two bags FREE! When I started pricing out flights I was horrified by the bag fees :scared1: We need a lot of stuff, especially with staying for 10 nights!

We leave on May 6th, the day after our wedding. The flight departs around 1 from Philadelphia, PA and arrives in Orlando around 3pm. On May 16th, we depart Orlando at 6pm and arrive in Philadelphia around 8:30p.

I can't wait to fly! :yay:

Deluxe Dining Plan!

With upgrading to BWI, we decided that we would also upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan! We said this is a once in a lifetime trip, lets just go all out!

deluxedining2.jpg

One of the best parts of it for us, is the fact that all of our dining needs will be paid for in advance! We have no need worry about a huge bill when we get home :worship: It will be nice to only have to cover tip, souvenirs, and activities on our trip!

deluxedining1.jpg

We look forward to using all 30 Dining Credits and 20 Snack Credits each popcorn::. Which also means I will need to hit the gym when we return. :lmao: I am looking forward to the refillable mugs too!

deluxedining3.jpg

For our dining plans, I did book a lot of Signature meals! DFi and I aren't huge breakfast eaters, so this leaves us with some snack credits to use at the Boardwalk Bakery.

deluxedining4.jpg

I can't wait to not care how much something costs on the menu!

Arrival Day - May 6th!

We are leaving for our honeymoon the day after our wedding. We depart Philadelphia around 1 and should arrive in Orlando around 3:30. At arrival, I can't wait to see this --

5-MEjpg.jpg

It is one of my favorite parts of going to Disney. I know from there on out, everyday will be magical once I step on that bus!

5-ME2jpg.jpg

As soon as we arrive to BWI, I am going to assume we will be exhaused! I hope we can check in quickly and go to our room for some rest and relaxation time! :lmao: But we are on our honeymoon! (haha sorry, I will keep it PG)

5-roomjpg.jpg

After a much needed relaxing afternoon, we have dinner ADRs for Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian for 7:50. I can't wait to eat here, two things I have my eye on are the Lobster and the steak options that they have!

5-narcoosseesjpg.jpg

Depending on how long our dinner lasts, we may either watch wishes from GF or head over to MK to watch. MK has EMH this night till 1am, so we will see how much energy we have at the end of the night!

5-emhjpg.jpg

Overall, I hope for a relaxing travel day with an amazing dinner!

Deluxe Dining Plan:

Today: 4 TS Credits Used
Total Left: 56 TS Credits, 40 Snack Credits

Honeymoon Day 1 <3 Update!

Since we changed resorts and went to deluxe dining, we made changes to our plan! Check out our Day 1 plan below:

Our first full day is Monday, May 7th. We are going to wake up when we get up, there is no need to rush after a long weekend. For breakfast we are going to check out the boardwalk bakery and use 2 snack credits and our refillable mugs for drinks. I am looking forward to a cinammon roll!

bw3bakery.jpg

After breakfast, we are going to head right to Epcot for our first full day of adventure. We will stop at Soarin for our fast passes and enjoy the morning exploring other attractions. Hopefully we can go hang out with Nemo and Crush without the crowds!

1-Lecellier.jpg

I decided to start our Honeymoon out with a great meal :flower3:, and one of my favorites - Le Cellier!! We have a 12:00 p.m. reservation. My favorite lunch item is the Salmon burger and of course the maple creme brulee!

lecelliercreme.jpg

But today is a stress free day, so at this point if we want to go back and take a nap - then why not? We will decide after that great meal at Le Cellier!

After our nap or whatever we end up doing, we are going to head back to Epcot for the evening. One of the main reasons is because DFi had two requests this honeymoon - sushi and steak/shrimp. I thought a great start to the honeymoon would be tokyo dining!

1-sushi.jpg

I love the decor of Tokyo Dining and hope that the food is just as good!

Does anyone know how the deluxe dining plan work with sushi at Tokyo?

1-tokyodining.jpg

After Tokyo Dining, I can't wait to see Illuminations! My plan is to head towards the International Gateway and watch them from the bridge.

1-illuminations.jpg

Overall, I feel like it is a very successful first day!

Deluxe Dining Update:

Today - 4 TS Credits Used, 2 Snack Credits Used
Total left: 52 TS Credits, 38 Snack Credits
