Day 10 8th of November MGM we meet again
Dragged ourselves up early this morning and headed down to K & As room. Hop in the car and whoosh off to Disney we go. Freeway wasnt to bad and neither was the car park as we pulled into mgm.
Park had just opened but BOY was it busy. Lots and lots of families with children. Must have been a day off for the schools or something.
Naturally we head straight for .. rockin roller coaster. 25 minute wait .. hrmmm what the heck but first lets grab fast passes, so we snag some fast passes for tower of terror.
Kents not a huge roller coaster fan but he elects to do RnR anyway and we line up. Wellll the ride broke down while we were in the line so it became close to a 40 minute wait but it was ok as we were jibbering away and making fun of a group of preppy slutty cheer leaders in line. Honestly . Dress appropriately at theme parks.
As it turns out Kent loved RnR and as always so did we. Sooooo much fun. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSHHHH. Love that initial acceleration.
From there we went on ToT as it was only a 15 minute wait. Kent sat it out as he hates drops like that and Anne loved it. She wanted to go on again lol. We wandered over and did star and then decided mmmm lunch. It was 1pm by then and it was busy but the nice hostess had a 2:40pm PS spare so we took that. We then wandered down and did the Muppets followed by a little wandering around looking in stores(especially the star wars store). After lunch we caught the Indiana Jones show and the back lot tour. Was funny seeing Kent and Anne jump back as that water came rushing at us. Just like Jessica had done the week before lol.
After that we went and did our ToT fast pass and RnR again. By this time it was getting close to 6:30 so we elected to ride ToT a few times in a row and Kent went off wandering around the shops. After one ride we decided to call it a night and drive back.
K & A were then supposed to be leaving that night but decided to stay and checked back in to another hotel just across from us. We bought some more beer and poppeyes and sat in their room relaxing and eating before heading home around 11pm. We said our good byes and went back to our place to get some sleep.
