Just got back from a site visit...so excited...the Pavillion is even more beautiful than I ever imagined (we both started crying the minute we walked in)!

I was talking to the my coordinator about a honeymoon suite which Disney does not seem to offer.

What I want is a room to stay in the night before the wedding so I can get ready there the next day with my mom and bridesmaids. Does anyone know if Disney has such a place that's not sooo expensive? The coordinator told me "suites" at the Grand Floridian start at $1500!!! I know they offer a honeymoon room but I don't think it will be big enough to get ready in with my girls.

Any advice on how to get a suite without spending a fortune?

Also - I was told the boardwalk rarely upgrades you to a honeymoon cottage, andy DB know anything about this?

Sorry so many questions, just want the perfect day and I don't know how to make that happen without spending a fortune!

Swan and Dolphin have [honeymoon] suites too. and should be much less than GF..
but to get from S/D to WP ..umm...maybe request a town car to deliver you girls? shouldn't cost too much for that.

My mom stayed in a one bedroom at OKW which has the largest rooms. It also has the lowest number of points to rent it. You could rent points (average about $10 per point) from a member on the rent trade board, for the night or even the whole week. They do count toward your numbers as they're a disney resort.

Anyway, the place was HUGE, and had a very nice sunken tub with jets, in the bathroom. It was very nice the morning of the wedding being able to soak and relax before the hair and makeup and everything started. It was only me and mom getting ready but we had Lisa there to do our hair, and Carolyn was there steaming our dresses, and my best friend and her husband were there for the company, and Randy too. And we had plenty of room still.

Hope this helps.

P.S. The one bedroom has other perks too like a full kitchen, balcony, and washer and dryer. It's well worth the money.

Try a Garden Suite at the Boardwalk. They are really cute and have lots of room. You also can have your pictures in the little garden area!

GF has a honeymoon room which is very nice. I am not sure on the size but it could fit about 5 people nicely I think if you had too. I think the rooms are 800 range though. Which hotels are on your room block??

We haven't agreed to anything definitely but the hotels we are thinking are the Boardwalk, Caribbean Beach, and All Star Movies.
