Honeymoon split-stay advice?

We are planning our honeymoon & we'd like to do a split-stay of one moderate and one deluxe. Dates will be during value season either January or late November.

We are pretty sure that we would like to do WL for our deluxe portion during the second half of our trip. Which view would you recommend? Is there a huge difference in price between a standard view and a preferred view?
-We do NOT want to be directly above a pool or in a potentially noisy and non-private area.

What would you suggest for our moderate? We would like a place that is relaxed and has comfy beds (comfy beds is key-I get picky about this!). Also, please list sections you might choose to be in. We stayed at CBR for our last trip and although it was lovely in Jamaica, we would like to try something different.

We would love to choose a place where we will be given a little extra special treatment. I don't mean to sound greedy!! I just mean a place that will acknowledge our recent WDW wedding!!

Thanks!!:goodvibes

Congratulations! We've only stayed at the villas in WL, but my cousin stayed in a woods view and it was away from the pool and very quiet. I haven't stayed at a moderate in a while (FI is addicted to WL!) but I remember liking POR and the Caribbean Beach.

Thanks!

Anyone else?

I've been reading about POFQ & wondering what people thought of this place? Are the beds comfy? Is it generally clean? Are the rooms fancy? Are the CM nice there? Any particular section we should avoid? We don't want a pool view, but don't want to overlook a parking lot either.

Also, any advice on the WL type room? Would getting just a standard room defeat the "feel" of the resort? We definately do not want to overlook the pool (to have a bit of privacy and also avoid pool noise), but we don't want to be too far away from the action either.

Thanks so much!!:goodvibes

We would have it no other way but courtyard pool view. We're most always 3rd or 4th floor, no pool noise up there. Privacy, any room has privacy unless you dance around the balcony. We sit in the evening, on the balcony, the pool is all lit up and have a few drinks, its just a beautiful setting compared to the woods. We've even had ground floor, courtyard, pool and privacy, heavy drapes and sheers on sliding door were no problem and while at the WL, noise was never a problem.

Oh, thank you!! I'm so glad you said that about the noise level! We visited the WL during our last trip and thought the pool area was heavenly, but I have such a tough time falling asleep with outside voices! So, is a "courtyard pool view" a paid request or a "hope I get it" request?

Any photos of this view and is it the most expensive view for this resort or middle of the road?

CSR! It's a very romantic resort, especially at night. Take a walk along the white sandy beach, hang out on a hammock or take a walk over the lighted bridge. It's very nice. CSR also has live entertainment in the form of a dance club (Rix Lounge) along with three other lounges to take advantage of. CSR offers a spa for a massage, salon and fitness center as well.
