Hi all-
I am disneymooning and I have read up on the photopass, but thought it might be neat to do something like the MK shoot with me and my FH for honeymoon pics. I am so terrified that we are going to end up having to take pictures with just one of us in them and hardly have any of both of us. Photopass seems iffy....some people think it's worth it, others don't. Does anyone know if they would do a MK shoot with my FH and I in regular clothes (maybe dressed up a little)? Just curious.

Yes Disney does offer this. They do honeymoon shoots in any of the parks. Although you will obviously not be able to wear wedding attire. I think it is for one hour starting at 9am. You can contact disney photographic services for prices , booking and details. Another option I used is Brooke she was with gifts of a lifetime but I think she is independent now. Her name is Disneywife on the boards so if you so an advance search you can send her a pm. She followed us around the Mk taking pics of us. It was great. She is very friendly and she took posed and alot of spontanious pics as well. Hope this helps.

Another thing to keep in mind, any CM will take a picture for you with your camera. Even photopass photographers, so you'll have the same picture that way on your camera. Making it a good shot and free. We had the photopass people do this for us with characters, and in front of the castle. We also had a few people spontanously ask if we would like for them to take a picture of us. So even when there are no CMs there are still wonderful people willing to help out. I also figured I'd come home from my honeymoon with no couple shots but we ended up with several very nice ones.

I've done photopass to a limited extent on previous vacations and the pictures have all turned out very well. I especially like the "magic" pictures where they add a character in. My favorites are the one at Animal Kingdom where we're holding Baby Simba and the one in front of Haunted Mansion where they add a Hitchhiking Ghost. We're planning to do photopass for our honeymoon and buy the CD that includes as many high-resolution pictures as can fit on it. I hear it's about 300 or so. It also includes a release to reprint the photos as desired. The CD is $99 and I think can only be purchased at Epcot's photo center and one other place at this time. I believe I read somewhere that they're offering it online, but with restrictions or something. My fiance and I get a chuckle over the fact we'll go from avoiding the Disney photographers to begging them all to take our photos.

The CD is also available at ToonTown in the Magic Kingdom and the Mercantile at the GF resort. I believe you can also purchase it somewhere at the Studios, but am not positive.

We had 237 photos on our CD.

So I found the link to disney photography and I saw the Honeymoon/Engagement shoot package. It is $295 and it includes 20 pictures and an album. You pick one of the 4 theme parks and then they shoot you in a specific location...for instance...I would do the MK and they pose you at Cindy's castle. I'm not sure if that is worth $300. Has anyone done this photo shoot? Would you recommed it?

It was a little to early in the morning for me :sunny: . After I posted I saw your prices :thumbsup2 . Can you post the link that you found online for it.

Thanks  :firefight

I tried going back and finding the link, but I can't find it now. The current photography link has no prices on the honeymoon/engagement package. I am guessing the page I found it on was out of date or something.

Those are some really cute pictures....argh I don't know if I can decide whether it's worth it or not!
