Honeymoon in WDW!

Congratulations!!

Have you already booked your dining reservations? If so, you might want to call and ask them to add a note to your reservation that it is your honeymoon, and be sure to remind the CM when you check in!

Also remind the CM at the front desk when you check in to your hotel! Where are you staying?

Definitely get the "Just Married" pins at Guest Services at the parks (they're free!) they might get you some extra "pixie dust". Also, you can wear the bride and groom hats around the parks (and restaurants) and that usually gets a little more attention.

Have you booked any "special" tours or events? You might consider a Segway tour or a Wishes or Illuminations cruise...or maybe a special spa treatment for the two of you.

What are some of the things you have planned?

We don't really have anything planned. The only way we were able to pay for it all was our tax returns+the stimulus check! We've got it all paid for except for food and we're going to try to do that on some what of a budget! Should we make reservations still? We didn't let anyone know it was our honeymoon either. We're staying at Pop Century, should we let them know?

Definitely call Pop Century and let them know it's your honeymoon! They may not do anything, but they can't if you don't tell them, right???;)

And if there are any special places you want to eat, I would definitely call and make some kind of reservation, just to make sure you can get in to some of the more popular sit-down places!

Check out this site: http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm for ideas of places you might like to go and then call 407-WDW-DINE to make your reservations and let them know it's your honeymoon. Again, they may not do anything, but if you don't tell them, they can't even try!;)

Did you book a package for your rooms/tickets? I think for the dates you are booked there is a dining option that could be free (if it's not sold out for that resort). Did you use a travel agent to help you book your honeymoon? You might want to ask them about the "free dining" promotion. I'm not sure if it's still available, but it might help you with budgeting!

Free dining is all booked everywhere unfortunately :guilty: Thanks for your help though!

well crap!!! I was hoping there was a chance...

I still would make reservations at any of the sit-down places you want to go. You may find that you won't be able to eat there at all if you don't have a reservation. If you change your mind, you can just call and cancel.

As I said before, definitely wear the ears and pins and keep your chin up! You might be very surprised at what might happen!!

Oh I'm not sad about it =] I know we'll have a great time no matter what! I know we'll at least make a reservation for the night we choose to go to Fantasmic!
