Honeymoon in Disneyland May 2014

Hello fellow Disney fans, Im new to the boards and was hoping to get some advice. My fiancé and I have only been to disneyland once and only or a day, but that's where we fell in love and very much want to go there on our honeymoon. We're getting married early next May an plan to head out the next morning for a week long trip. We are in the early planning stages and I'm hoping some experts will weigh in and give us newbies some advice, i.e. things to do, where to stay, where to eat and probably the most important, money saving tips. We both want to stay in the Disneyland Hotel at least for this one trip as that way we will never have to leave the magic, but that's all we've decided so far... Any ideas, pointers, etc?

Congratulations on your wedding and honeymoon! That sounds like an amazing idea for a honeymoon. I wish I could advise more, but I've never been to Disneyland yet. We are doing the Backstage Magic Adventure by Disney during our honeymoon and that will be my first time at Disneyland.
