Hi
My fiance' and I are honeymooning in Disney next May. What are some great ideas for romance?
And a big kid at heart?
Thanks
Jenn

My DH and I honeymooned at WDW last November. We spent our first 3 nights at the Swan and 5 nights at AKL. We wore our bride/groom ears EVERYWHERE and got lots of congrats , a free freebies and special treatment. We got free dessert a couple times, a upgrade to a balcony Epcot view room at the swan, and got to be in the parade at the AK. In the evenings we went to see Wishes on the beach at the poly (very romantic), walked around the lake by the YC and BWI while eating ice cream, watched Illuminations from our balcony at the Swan, sat and listened to the a band in DTD and didn't do try to do it all. Disney can be as romantic or unromantic as you make it. Happy Honeymoon Planning:)

How about a couples massage at GF? Or a carriage ride? Dinner at California Grill during fireworks? Victoria and Alberts? Which resort are you staying at? How about a gift basket with robes and such? There is tons of romantic things to do at WDW.

There are SO many cool and romantic things to do at Disney. Some things that DH and I did were:

Dined in the castle our first evening there.
(Cinderella's Royal Table)

Went on a Wishes Cruise.

Dine while watching Illuminations in Epcot.
(I think this was Dh's favorite)

I would agree with the other poster who mentioned taking a horse drawn carriage ride. We had one of these planned, then we ended up cancelling once we got to WDW because we wanted to use that time to spend with our families before they left and didnt want to feel rushed. We didn't think it was a big loss seeing that we already rode in cinderellas carriage the day before, but this is still going to be a must do for our anniversary trip. You can get these carriages at POR and Fort Wilderness.

O one more thing that we did on the spur of the moment was to rent one of those mouse boats at the resort. They let you go out for 30 minutes and you can make it a relaxing ride, or a fast ride!

Enjoy!

Thanks so much for all the great ideas. We are staying at the AKL and we do have the romantic dream maker package and it includes the carraige ride and cirqu de soliel (which I can't wait to see)
I love the idea of watching the fireworks at the Poly, thanks so much
Jenn
