Honeymoon Help!

Hi there everyone!
My fiance and I are planning our Honeymoon! We have our flight booked and will be landing in CA on September 7th 2014. We know we are going to Disneyland, and CA Adventures, but also want to go to Knotts Berry, and Universal Studios. We are staying 8 days, and want to know if anyone has any suggestions of things to do at these parks! We went to DL and CA adventures 5 years ago with our families so our experience was a little different then it will probably be with just us. Ha.

Any help or suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

I would definitely use the search feature on the main Disneyland forum to find the many threads about fun things for couples/adults to do at DLR. These threads include fine dining ideas like the chef's counter at Napa Rose and waterside tables at Blue Bayou as well as lesser-known experiences like riding the Storybook Land Canal Boats at night or scoring a ride on the Lilly Belle.

I suggest getting 3-day park hoppers. Two adults during off-season should be able to experience every attraction in three days, and you will want the freedom of park-hoppers to take advantage of any dining or entertainment options and to go back and do your favorite rides multiple times. Also, during off-season, some of the shows, like Fantasmic and fireworks, are only shown on weekends. I would split the days and perhaps use one day on Sat. and the other two on Tues. and Wed. to enjoy some of the smallest crowds of the year.

Knotts and Universal won't even require a full day each, so that will leave 3 days and couple partials for sightseeing, beaches, or relaxing at the pool/hotel.


Follow-up edit: I just found out that riding in the Lilly Belle changed to a Club 33 members-only privilege a couple weeks ago.
