Honeymoon Help Please!!!!!

Hi everyone!!! My name is Whitney and I am getting married next year in 2010!!! We have yet to set a date so we are really flexible at this point. We are planning to honeymoon in DisneyWorld and would like to know your own experiences as well as your personal opinions on when are some of the best times of the year to take a honeymoon there. We were originally planning for March but are terribly afraid that the crowds at Disney will be horrible ! Any advice would be unbelievably appreciated!

Personally, I prefer early May...it's too late for Spring Break, and too early for school to be dismissed for the year. The weather is warmer, warm enough to enjoy the pools, but not steaming hot like the summer.

I'd definitely avoid March...too many spring breaks and kids. What are all those kids doing there ruining a perfectly good theme park anyway?

Late August is my favorite time to go! I love the heat, and have never found it to be overwhelmingly hot at that time of year...plus a lot of the time free dining starts so you can get a great deal!

I also really love late September - school is in and the crowd volume is light...

I totally agree with Kel - We usually go down mid-May (my birthday!) and it's the best time of the year. The weather is just gorgeous and the crowds are really light!

September- October is a nice time to go. People usually want their kids to start school for a while before taking them on vacation. The weather is warm and if you go in October you could do some of the Halloween things!!! (So much fun!!!)

I agree with what everyone else has said so far.. the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies board could also be very helpful in planning a trip.. and once you get that going.. check out the Dining board

I would have to agree we went late sept. and it was wonderful. We went to the Not So Scary Halloween Party and there was NO ONE there sooo excited!! My family used to go every year during March it is way to packed go when there is an off time for sure!!! Enjoy though!

The best time to go is early May..perfect weather,no rain, not crowded. January/Feb is a nice time to go too.

I like to go just after Thanksgiving, early december cuz of all the holiday decorations. You ahve to be careful though, the closer you get to Xmas, its gets pretty crazy busy.

We like January as well, we are not fans of super hot weather and its still cool in Dec/Jan

Just avoid xmas and new years!! Avoid easter, avoid Presidents Day!
