Most of you won't believe this... but I received a call last week from the Executive Offices of Walt Disney World about my email and it has been viewed by many including the general manager at the beach club villa resort.
They have decided to refund our unused dining plan ($173.26) and offer us 2 free nights at any DVC resort on our next trip whenever that may be.
They were very sympathetic and wanted us to be able to finish out our honeymoon on a good note, give DVC another chance, and be return guests time and time again.
I talked to them for awhile and explained to them if I had to do it all over again, I would definitely call the front desk to have them take care of these things right away but they were glad to hear my comments as sometimes they don't know many of these things unless we speak up
This REALLY surprised me as I was NOT looking for anything at all out of this.. and I told them that but they insisted on this. This just goes to show you Disney is still focused on making sure everyone is happy and having the best vacation ever at the happiest place on earth!
