Honeymoon dinner: California Grill or Narcoosee's?

Hi! So my fiance and I are getting married at Disney next year, and honeymooning after. We are looking to do a signature meal on a Saturday night with viewing of Wishes. Neither of us have ever been to any of the signature resort restaurants, we tend to stay in park on our trips. But we want something romantic this time!

We both love seafood. I am a very adventurous foodie whereas his tastes are more reserved but he did say things on the menus for both California Grill and Narcoosee's sounded good. I can't decide which to choose. Which has the better food/is more likely to win over a picky-Ish eater? Better views? is one more likely to be crowded or loud on a weekend? And do I need to call for a reservation to make sure we can see the fireworks, or could I do it online?

California Grill! That's my favorite restaurant anywhere. I also didn't love narcoosee's.

As long as you have a reservation that night for California grill, you can view the fireworks from their deck on the top floor.

I like both of them. But for a honeymoon -- California Grill for sure. Narcoosee's is a really nice restaurant. California Grill is a romantic experience!

I think that Narcoossees is a good choice. I like CG but that place is loud, and is often filled with kids. I think that there may be a wine room, but I am not sure, we always eat in the main dining room.

Narcoossees. Ca Grille is loud and over run with kids at fireworks time. I do not think it is romantic at all but rather it is hectic.

As to your question about the two, I'd pick CG over Narcoossee's for this event. Both are good, but you'll be more impressed with the view from CG. However, I'd suggest a different restaurant that may be more romantic - Artist Point or Citrico.

Let me repeat another option a PP mentioned - Citricos. I just got back from Disney and had dinner at both Citricos and California Grill. I was by myself at Citricos and then was with a group of friends at California Grill. Both meals were excellent. As a PP indicated, California Grill can get loud. We also happened to be by a family that had a squealing/screaming child. So that did take away from the ambiance a little.

To be fair, I have never eaten at Narcoosees.

While the view at California Grill can be great, it really depends on where you are seated though. I think the overall feel of Citricos was much more elegant and potentially romantic. Both places had great servers and the food was wonderful at both restaurants. But if I had to choose which meal to have again, I would take the dinner at Citricos hands down. In fact I plan on taking my father and step mom there in December.
