Ok, so I am booking our ADR for our Honeymoon and I am trying to come up with some different ideas since we generally always eat at the same restaurants. I'd like to be able to have a meal during Wishes but the only place I know of is the California Grill. Our reception is going to be there so I'd rather somewhere else if possible. So guys and gals, lets here some romantic dining experiences for a Honeymoon!! =)

We ate at Artist Point. It was pretty quite, and good food. We had that it was our Honeymoon noted on our ADR, and we received a special menu (it said congratulations or something) and a free dessert.

For our anniversary, we are eating at Jiko. I love this restaurant. It has good food and atmosphere.

You could always eat somewhere like Citricos or Narcoosses and walk out side to watch Wishes.

Ohh just thought that you could get something from Captain Cooks (I know hamburgers aren't romantic) and take it outside and have a picnic on the beach while watching Wishes.

If you really want to splurge, you should try Victoria & Alberts. We had our first alone meal as a married couple and were blown away by the food. It is phenomenal. We had a pretty private table and the service was excellent. Be warned you will be very full after eating seven courses but each bite is heaven:cloud9: They even took us into the kitchen to meet the chef. It was an incredible experience.

I just posted this on the thread about the fireworks cruises, but thought I'd post it again here.

If you book a Wishes cruise, you can have dinner on the boat--at least you could do this in Dec. 2006! We were going to do this, but decided to eat at Artist Point before the cruise (btw, we LOVED it there!).

I know the cruises can be booked 90 days in advance. We were staying at the Contemporary Atrium Club and I had the IPO there set everything up for me.

My fiancee and I were just discussing where we want to eat on our honeymoon, even though its still ~10 months off.

CRT, California Grill, and the Polynesian Luau were the first ones that we came up with. Victoria & Alberts would be awesome, but the price scares us away a bit, along with her culinary timidness (aka, she's not too adventuresome). Narcoosee's and Citrico's are also distinct possibilities, as is that new Wave place at CR.

I'd recommend against Coral Reef. Last time we were there it was distinctly un-romantic, due in large part to a plethora of uncontrolled children exhibiting terrible manners. Please don't take that as an indication of me hating on kids, just the ones that can't act in a civilized manner at a nicer restaraunt....the next night the children at California Grill were all so well behaved, my fiancee even remarked to their parents how wonderful they were.

Flying Fish Cafe (@ Boardwalk) is also on my radar as a nicer place to eat for us, as is Le Cellier at the Canada pavilion. Chefs de France might be good for you as well as the restaraunt at Italy (whatever they're calling it these days).

Narcoosees is very nice and romantic. You have a great view of the water and the food is wonderful.
LeCellier is nice and romantic as well.
Not a nice it down restaurant, but I love going to Gasparillas at the GF with my hubby, getting something to go, and sitting at the marina and watching Wishes. its wonderful :)

Darn, I meant SIT down restaurant OOPS!

Another place I though of is Fultons at DTD. We ate there on our wedding night and go back for special occasions.
ALso Spoodles is nice at the Boardwalk if you sit on the patio and peoplewatch. :)

Since you mentioned having dinner somewhere you would be able to watch Wishes, have you considered Cinderella's Royal Table?

I have heard some pretty romantic stories of dinners there...and, IMO, ANYWHERE you eat can be romantic if you make it that way;)

Just make sure that you tell them it is your honeymoon when making the reservations and again when you check in!!

Have fun!

I really want to do Cinderella's Royal Table but DF is a bit on the fence. He's concerned it will be too childish. We already have Le Cellier booked. I LOVE that place! We've never been to Artiste's Point but since we are staying at the Wilderness Lodge we'll definitely have to check it out.

Narcoosees is very nice and romantic. You have a great view of the water and the food is wonderful.....
I second that! We ate at Narcoosees the first night of our Disneymoon, and we loved it! I booked our dinner time near the wishes time, and it was absolutely romantic! They dim all the lights in the restaurant during wishes and pipe in the wishes music... they will also hold your meals in kitchen (if you haven't been served yet) so you can go out on the deck area and watch Wishes.

We also had them make notes on our ADR that it was our honeymoon, and they had a personalized menu ready for us - such a nice keepsake!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! :lovestruc
