We got engaged in wdw in 2008.. now we are back for the honeymoon!

The plans so far..

we are staying for 16 nights in the port orleans - riverside
ive booked 21 day ultimate pass to wdw and 14 day to universal 3 parks
Also booked a champagne balloon ride!

So im after tips / advice on how to get the best out of a wdw honeymoon! ?

i think im more excited about the honeymoon than the wedding right now, is that wrong?

Congratulations! This sounds like so much fun. You are lucky to have all that time there. You will really be able to enjoy everything while still being able to relax and not feel as though you have to rush around to see everything:)

Congrats! That's so exciting!

I thought that Universal only had 2 parks..?

Riverside is a great resort- you'll love it. What kind of tips are you looking for? Sounds like you'll have plenty of time to experience the attractions!! Looking for dining suggestions or romantic ideas?

Just let us know and hopefully we can brainstorm with you!

Hi Mrs DucK, Thanks for the reply,

First question - the 3 park ticket include universal studios / island of adventure and wet'n'wild

You got it! would love some ideas for romantic meals and also little things that would make the holiday that extra bit special!

Thanks in advance too all!

booked so far:

1 champagne balloon ride on 30th June

to book

- Carriage ride at port orleans riverside
- A Couple of nice meals
- and the rest is up to suggestions :-)

im honeymooning the same time :) we are getting married the 29th going down a little early to spend time with the family then honeymooning in disney right after :)

Dinner at the California Grill at the Contemporary with a cocktail watching the fireworks from their balcony was heavenly for us when we were there in July

Maybe book a chef's table in one of the Signature resturants as well?

Spend some time in the lazy river at one of the water parks, we just floated around bobbling along enjoying each others company... until the kids found us anyway!

I agree with the fireworks cruise and dinner at the California Grill!

I'm another advocate for just relaxing- enjoy the pool!

Would you be interested in doing one of the backstage tours? I've always wanted to do one of those! They're pricey but seem worth it!
