Honeymoon Basket

Hi there!

My fiancee and I decided to go with POFQ. We just did the regular dream maker plan with the 4/7 Visa thing. woo hoo! However, we did let them know it would be our honeymoon. On our itinerary it says, Special Request: Honeymoon Basket.

Does anyone know what this is?

No one knows? I called the main travel center and they forwarded me to the hotel who had no clue and forwarded me to the florist who had no clue. Just wondering if anyone has had it before. I think it's a nice touch if we're really going to get it, but we don't drink and I wondered who to contact to see if we could switch the champagne for sparkling cider, if there is champagne in it

I am not quite sure what they offer now, but when DH and I stayed on POFQ for our honeymoon 10 years ago, there was a special basket of beigets (sp?) in our room along with a certificate for a small bottle of champagne from the bar. We thought it was awesome because we didn't expect anything special. Now that I "know better" about Disney, I have realized that we must have been upgraded because of our honeymoon. Not only did we get the nice gifts, but we had a corner room, 1st floor, with a beautiful view of the river.

Thanks fruitcake! I guess we'll just be suprised. It also says Honeymoon Suite on our itinerary. We paid for a King bed, so I'm assuming the CM was trying to get us a quieter location then. As far as I know, there are no honeymoon suites are there???

Jen...we stayed in a King room as well. Unless they have changed something with the new renovations, there are no honeymoon suites at POFQ. Like I said, the room we were in was a normal room, but it was all the way in the back of the property with a beautiful view of the river. It was building 2 to be exact...the part that was furthest away from the pool and closest to the river. We truly enjoyed the quiet time spent at the resort....like swimming in the pool at night when it was 40 degrees. The hot tub area is also very nice. You will definitely have a blast!!
