Honeymoon advice?

Hi

Mabel & I will be heading to Venice Italy by the end of next month. Our cruise will be sailing from Venice Italy , thru southern Italy and Greece ,and return to Rome.

We gonna stay in Venice over 1 night before getting on to our cruise. We'll also stay in Rome for a few days. My question is what websites did you use for booking 2 or 3 stars hotel (with private bathroom!) in Venice or Rome?
(Or which hotels did you end up staying, let me know in details )

Check out www.starwoodhotels.com. I just checked hotels in Venice and in Rome and they look amazing! Im not sure if thats exactly what you are looking for, but I hope that helps a little! Good Luck finding some great places!

In Rome, I suggest the Cortina. It is a nice homey hotel. I think all the rooms have baths. We have stayed in 3 different rooms there, and they have baths. We have made all the reservations via e-mail, fax, and phone. They speak enough English. The Cortina is not far from the train station especially when you are carrying luggage. My mom uses the Rick Steves books religiously. I think there is info on the Cortina on his site.
