I'm looking for the "back of the cakemix box" recipe for Honeybun cake. Can't remember if it's on Betty Crocker or Pillsbury mix. Anyone have it?

I'm not familiar with it, but here is what I've found.

Honeybun Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix together the cake mix, eggs, oil and sour cream into a thick smooth batter.
Stir together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Pour half of the batter into a well greased 9 X 13” pan. Sprinkle with half of the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Repeat with remaining batter and sugar mixture.
Bake in a preheated 325 °F. oven for 40 minutes.
Stir together the glaze ingredients and pour over the hot cake.
Cool and cut into squares.

That's it. Thanks so much.

My 7-year-old thinks this is the most wonderful cake, so he'll soon be getting a treat!

There's a neat book called the "Cake Doctor" that has that recipe in it. It has a lot of great recipes.
