Homewood Suites Palm Parkway

I am heading down this Thursday for a quick weekend trip to WDW and run in the Outback race in downtown Orlando. Because this trip won't include much parkage, our group decided to forego DVC and get a room offsite.

We snagged rooms at Homewood Suites on Palm Parkway.

Any feedback on this location?

I have not stayed here myself but my SIL stayed here in Sept 03 and was very impressed with it.

Good rooms and the buffet breakfast lovely.

My family and I stayed there in Oct. of 2001. We loved everything about it. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay!

Anyone have any leads on a good rate for this hotel?? We would like to stay there for our first night in May before checking in at OKW, but was hoping to get in under the $109/night on their web site. We stayed here a few years ago and really loved it but only paid $69/night then.
