Homewood Suites... Has anyone been there yet?

Will be coming this Thursday and staying at the new Homewood Suites by Hilton. They just opened on May 6 2003. Was wondering if anyone has been there yet?

Jewlz: We are scheduled to stay there in July for one night before moving to RPR. I would appreciate it if you could post your thoughts on the property upon your return. Thanks. I haven't been able to find out much about the property either. I think because it may be new?? Any info would be appreciated.

We haven't stayed at the new one...but we were in one for three months in North Carolina.

Homewood suites has to be the best hotel like this around. The free laundry, pantry, great rooms.
You will enjoy staying there. The employees are excellent.

Homewood Suites is owned by Hilton. I have stayed in several different locations of Homewood suites and they are all the same.

You have a living room / kitchen area. Kitchen includes full size fridge, micro, cooktop and dishwasher. There is no oven. Pots, pans, dishware, silverware, glassware and basic cooking utensils are all included. The kitchen table seats 4.

The living room area has a pull out sofa, a recliner, tv with Video Tape Player.

the bedroom has separate doors that close it off from the living area.

Bathroom is very standard.

Continental breakfast in the morning. Evening appetizers with comp beer and wine.

Overall a great place for families to stay.

there was not any breakfast or evening drinks in our Homewood suites. We also didn't have the doors that closed off the bedroom.

Homewood Suites are cookie cutter. Are you sure you were at a HOMEWOOD Suites and not a HAWTHORN Suites.
