This was our go too, but it declined since our last trip in 2019. We stayed there last week.
Pros: Very very close to port. The drive from there to the port was less than five minutes. Has a shuttle for a fee and parking for a fee, but we always just park our rental car at the port. The breakfast is pretty good for cruise morning, considering it is included. It's a short drive to other stuff we like, like a visit to Ron John's. There are other cruisers there, so there is a fun vibe on cruise morning. Staff is great. They have the two room suites at pretty normal rates, which gives you a couch and sitting area to relax. There is a kitchen if that's your thing, but I am not cooking on this type of vacation. You can see the port (usually not the Disney ship, since it's blocked by other ships).
Cons: The room is worn. We stayed there many years ago when it was new and clean, so it is hard to see it in its current state. The room was also not clean, but we have pretty high standards. There was dirt in corners, stuff on bed sheets, grime in bathroom, etc. It wasn't so bad that we had to leave or anything, it just wasn't as clean as we would have liked.
To give you an idea, my teen daughter says we have ridiculous standards when it comes to hotel rooms and that it was perfectly clean. But Disney and nicer hotels always seem clean enough for us, so that can't be too unusual. That said, I suspect many wouldn't have even noticed what we did.
The bottom line is that it isn't a terrible stay, but we decided we will look at alternatives the next time we cruise out of there. The price is somewhat high for what is becoming a worn property. But, if location and free breakfast are important to you, and you don't mind a room that isn't spotless, I think you won't be disappointed. I would stay there again without hesitation if I didn't find a better alternative I liked.
