Glad that everyone has gone to bed, though, some nerve that DH left shut off duty for you!!

My day was nice and quiet. Thank goodness, the virus seems to have left our home!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

I'm glad everyone in the Harasw family is feeling better.

it was 7538901538902357686 degrees in my classroom this afternoon

so I had the fan on, a box fan on a stand

and bleeder boy

picked up a piece of tablet paper off the floor
and fed it into the fan
so the fan starts making a whack, whack, whack noise
and I run over (see the problem)
everyone says his name
and bleeder boy reaches his fingers through the grid
to try to get the paper out
had turned the fan off, but it is still briskly spinning
I had to pull his hand out!

He is also filling out a "stop and think" sheet
and we all had to swelter the rest of the day
no more fan for lacks sense boy!

oh my, oh my!

and finally:

art teacher
(you remember her, she is the one with the stick wedged way up her butt)

took recess away from ALL the girls in my class for fooling around in the bathroom when they were washing the paint off their hands....

It took me 805781365 hours to get to the heart of that issue
I am thinking they were being loud and silly and she heard them

NO, one of my own TOLD the art teacher the girls were fooling around

:confused3 WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

"I was worried for our safety"

don't believe that fora second
it is the tattling indicator, it is a tattle if you just want to get someone in trouble, it is good to tell if someone could get hurt

I amended the NO RECESS to only the tattler, and the one offender who was being silly in the bathroom, then let them play after ten minutes of contempation in the sun

yes indeed! :rotfl:

Who me, make fun of Pittsburgh? :rotfl2:
We know, we are a bunch of sore losers up here, it's our coping mechanism to name call!

Thanks for the hugs. I cannot get over the lack of customers.
Sounds like a ruff day at school today, was40. It should make your long weekend that much better

Snow, cute kinder story.

The things you don't realize you need hot water for are piling up!

guess that answered my hot water question

I will NEVER take hot water for granted again.
I will acknowledge it daily!

I just showered. NEVER AGAIN! I was too lazy to go to my parents house (with in 2 miles of me)
I have not told my rents about my ordeal as talking about it out-loud practically brings me to tears. First thing tomorrow morning, it shall return.

Soap does not wash off with cold water just so you are all aware.

a distant memory now  (& here I am bringing it back up!)

the Penguins play tonight

penguins.jpg

& now & winning :yay:

No dinner yet. I'm a bit behind with everything today.
My roommate will be home soon and I told her to get us dinner.

82 here too thank goodness, it was lovely after that shower.

wow-- very nice -- it hasn't gotten that warm here yet -- close though -- still beautiful ::yes::

Good evening, Sarah.
The 5th supervisor called me back and let me know to expect gas man at 8AM.

All I have to say is, thank goodness it's not winter!
:rotfl: great minds!

Yes, they are not charging me for the next cycle. I looked at what my bill was for last year at this time $22.11. I was thinking they should comp me a month in the WINTER!

::yes::

I don't think Big Bird as in Giant Eagle sells Stonyfield. I'll have to check when I go to the store next time.

do I have you doing that too? :rotfl:

okay medical pros

Gram says melatonin
over the counter?
will help Pap sleep

be VERY VERY careful w/ any sleeping agent in the elderly -- HIGH, HIGH increase in fall risk!

Pap's UTI will interupt sleep -- hopefully once that clears he will do better.

Celebrity baby news...

I just got done with all the cookin' and cleanin'
about ten minutes ago!

I wont have to do much tomorrow
though,
just pop stuff in the oven
and open bags of chips

like to get it all done before so I can enjoy the party too!

BBQ plans for tomorrow, ladies?

Kimmy is going to mom's for pizza (very was40 ish)
Judi is cooking up enough for weeklong leftovers
I have cooked enough for an army, but we will be ordering pizza by eight, I predict

We didn't get a drop of rain today
hope tomorrow turns out as well

predicting occasional thundershowers
not a washout

now not even thundershowers
chance of rain only 20 percent

"new to you"

:lmao:

DH is trying to tempt me w/ the fire sales of Chrysler :rotfl:

be back in a little bit
going to make ADR's

what did you get?
medical question of the day.... Why is my left hand still "asleep"? It makes typing a pain in the you know where.

happy-anniversaryflintstones.jpg

Happy Anniversary, happy anniversary, happy anniversary, ha-----py anniversary!!

:rotfl: I love that song-- DH & I sing it to each other (dumby me forgot what it was from though ) thanks Sarah!

was40's pool rule is

"swim anytime, but bring an adult with you"

(I don't babysit the neighborhood constantly)

DH let everyone swim Thursday nite (it was so hot here) and watched them... DD's had four other similar aged gals here.

Today, DH and I are at the store
and DD13 asks if they can swim when we get home

little one DD13 babysits is here, too, just turned 4
DD13 is NOT babysitting today, the girl was just here to "play"

I say, only if her mom comes to watch her

(don't you think four is a little young to send out and about,
in swimsuit, .......!.....)
they called her mom
said she couldn't swim unless she came to watch

had to wait about an hour for her to "be right over"

mmmm-- I could make a Grove City run & swing by :rotfl:

I had to make the
"bring an adult" rule for this family

older child is needy to the max
and seemed to be living with me

she is famous for saying things like
"I can stay for lunch"
"Can I have a popsicle"
"I would love to have a sleepover with DD10"
"My mom says I can stay until 9PM"
