I was reading all the AK menus on all ears
trying to find a good place for the finicky was40 kids


nothing excites me

we did restarauntasaurus breakfast buffet (but somethow the menu looks different now!)
DD10 will want mcd's chix and fries over any real food offerings

Did your kids eat well at Tusker House or Yak and Yeki, PAD?
are your kids picky to begin with?

DS will eat anything, and the leftovers of whatever anyone else orders, but the girls are fussy

We ate at Tusker House in August...they have an AMAZING breakfast buffet...I have no doubt the was40 girls will find something to eat

Thanks Snow, the menu looked very similar to the Restaurantasaurus one, and we enjoyed it (but reading it now, it doesn't seem like the food we actually ate...)

DH just lectured me that my budget friendly method of ADR making was not to his liking. I schedule late breakfasts to be "brunch", and he says he LOVES breakfast, but would like it earlier. I tried to explain that this will cost more money, because my kids are not known for meal skippin', and he replied that he is willing to put his Disney gift card (from the new Disney Visa) toward feeding us. tee hee hee

DS won a BLockbuster card at work this week
prize for some silly thing at the Y

so he just rented movies....he got Taken, Bad Boys 2 and The Kingdom (girlfriend influence on the Kingdom, which he couldn't even give me a summary for ) DH saw Taken on the plane on one of his trips and said every parent even THINKING of letting their child go on spring break should see it.

I have a valid excuse

softball game

we got slaughtered!

and DH's parents came to see the girls
and their baby boy on his anniversary

I sent an email to the relatives saying "Can you believe DS will be 16????"
and mom in law sent me one back saying, "I can't believe my baby boy will be married 22 years!"

after the game
we sat around and chatted
DS and his GF are here
and it was relaxing and enjoyable

a slow pace for the eve
which we RARELY enjoy

on my junior skip day

(progressive school)

a group of us 11th graders went to a classmate's house to swim, it was right before the end of the year

and I drove one friend to her house to get her swimsuit
the friend happened to live right by the church where the baccalaurate service was being held, and the seniors were there PRACTICING for it
and here I was sitting in the getaway car, skipping school (the whole day)

so when my friend came out of her house
she was looking around frantically for me
since I was crunched down onthe floorboards trying NOT to be seen by the principal

I only came home an hour early and since I still had to watch the kids I couldn't really go anywhere...but since school was so dead I didn't really do much...I watched a forensic files, played tennis, and sat on the front lawn of the school for AP Lit
