DH surprised me by sending my Mom a dozen roses.
Both children bought adorable cards for me. I ask for no gifts.

We took a long, leisurely walk (which we almost never have time to do) in Prospect Park - http://www.prospectpark.org/ and then we went to Starbucks. I tried a new drink called Toffee Mocha Frappuccino. It was delicious. Then, it was back to work for him and back home for me to do some cleaning and figure out what we will have for dinner.

I am at the airport... I seriously had a fantastic trip! We did so many new things and still took tons of time to "smell the roses" We booked a random bounceback to WL for a great deal Aug 26-31 might as well make the most of the APs.
I missed talking with u all and can't wait to catch up with u all!

I got a lovely homemade scrappbooky card from DD13, filled with pictures of our family and sayings like "Thank you for playing with us" "thank you for taking us to Disney" it is beautiful! It is six pages long! a whole album, really! and a poster card she made...
DD10 got me a blank journal for planning our Disney trip or writing other stuff, she says... a hair clip for holding my hair back in the hot tub (she is a thoughtful child), she wrote a beautiful poem titled My Mother with her school picture on it, and I have three more presents yet to come...

I also got two hanging baskets of flowers from all the kids and DH, geraniums and impaitients.

I will be back in school by your bounceback......but I am very happy that you were able to book one! Same BFF's going on that trip? WL, very nice! Can't wait to hear ALL about your trip, you ahve a lot of posting to catch up on, I won't even look at your post count for a few days

Lol I just checked Cleveland weather and it's currently 53! I am thinking my tee and crop pants may not cut it!

I am so excited to have my next two trips booked (and pretty much paid for) when I am leaving! Makes it so much easier to leave.

We sat behind a new mom and newborn baby boy in church.
It was quite delightful to watch his little face change as he slept
and then woke up with a newborn baby wail.....

Church was filled with Mom's as was expected...
then we went to McD's for lunch (hot fudge sundaes as a treat for me and the girls, too, DS added a cone and DH just had a few more fries!)

Now, DH and the girls are practicing hitting softballs
and DS is working on his golf swing
and I am enjoying blissful QUIET time

PAD, my neighbor had outdoor (travel team) soccer in Erie yesterday
three games, rained through them all...
they were soaked beyond wet....

lost first two
won last by one goal


not such a happy day for them


I couldn't believe they were playing outside!

Sorry Snow I'm thinkin aug sept and oct may be a bit much to swing. Just Melissa and I in Aug (right now) in Oct we r going to meet up with our friends from the UK. We spent a day with them this past Thursday and really enjoy touring the park with them. In December I think my niece and parents may come.
