Homeschooling info?

Sorry if this is not the right board. A fellow Dis'er told me they had seen info on the Families board a while back and the search is not working for me right now.

We live in PA and have committed to homeschooling our boys after they finish with the local Catholic school in June. We will be starting the two oldest with 9th and 6th grades (we also have a 2yo but we have a little time there). If anyone can send me any info (tips, websites, etc.), I would greatly appreciate the kindness.

I homeschool my 3 kids 4th grade, 2nd, and K. I have always homeschooled and so therefore have amassed an unbelieveable amount of info!! Not all useful, but some may be !!! What types of sites are you looking for? Support, curriculum? Do you know what type of schooler you want to be? Unschool? Classical? somewhere in between? I use Sonlight curriculum for my older two. We love good books so this curriculum works for us. But I do try to leave some wiggle room for adventure learning!! (we do find some rabbit trails ) Sonlight.com also has a forum and those ladies are a wealth of info on lots of topics!! I also frequent several blogs for support and a little of "thank Goodness it's not just me! You can PM me or I'll keep checking this thread.

We HS and are located in PA. I have a son that will be going into 9th grade next year. A great site to try is pahomeschoolers . com. They are out of Kittaning, PA. They offer alot of insight as to requirements for PA. There is also a forum for questions. Please PM me with any addition questions I could answer for you.
